Zakir Husain Delhi College traces its origin to more than 300 years ago to a Madrasa. After many tumultuous events, the college as we see today was the final avatar. 

       ZHDC and MC, both have obtained grades of "A+" and are well known for good faculty and academics. Both colleges are in demand by students during the admission process. The total seat intake for the BSc (Hons) programmes offered at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College across various specialisations is 441. SGTB Khalsa College is a recognizsed Sikh Minority Institution. Therefore, 50% of seats are reserved for Sikh candidates.
