APEdCET Exam Pattern 2026
The test paper for the state-level education common entrance test is divided into three parts viz. Part A and Part B need to be attempted by all aspirants. However, Part C differs from candidate to candidate depending on their subject preference. Aspirants can choose from five subject choices in Part C of the test.

APEdCET marking scheme: One mark is allotted for every correct answer in the exam. There is no negative for an incorrect answer in the exam.

Language of APEdCET Exam
As mentioned in the official notification of the APEdCET 2026, the question paper will be in English and Telugu languages except for the English methodology paper. However, candidates opting to write the Entrance Test in Urdu medium will be provided with English and Urdu paper. This facility will only be at the Kurnool exam centre.
APEdCET Marking Scheme
Candidates must know about the APEdCET marking scheme before appearing in the exam. This will help them to know how to attempt the questions, what are the scoring areas etc. We have shared the marking scheme of the APEdCET 2026 below:
- For every correct reponse made by the candidate they will be given 1 mark.
- There will be no negative marking in the exam for incorrect response.
- However, if candidates marked two options in the same question, it will be considered as wrong answer.
- No mark will be deducted if candidates leave a question unattended.
APEdCET Qualifying Marks
For APEdCET (Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test), the qualifying mark is 25% of the total score, which usually means 37 marks out of 150, but there are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates; they just need to appear and qualify for ranking
