What is APEdCET?
The Andhra Pradesh EdCET exam is an annual entrance test by the Acharya Nagarjuna University. The exam's purpose is to shortlist candidates for the 2-year BEd program. Candidates must score at least 50% marks to apply for the exam. They can get admission to a Government, aided, Unaided, or Private institution, based on the marks scored.

Candidates who have appeared for the exam were able to check their AP EdCET result on the official website using their login credentials. They just have to click on "Download AP EdCET rank card", on the directed page, enter the login credentials to check the result and your qualifying status.
The AP EdCET important dates include the registration, admit card, result, and counselling schedule. For the 2025 session, AP EdCET notification was released on April 8, 2025. Online registration was conducted between April 8 and May 14, the admit card was released from April 30 onwards, the result declaration was on June 5, and counselling was scheduled in September.

Yes, the reservation policy affects the AP EdCET cut-off. The cut-off varies based on General (UR), SC, ST, BC, and PWd candidates and the marks they have scored.
Candidates can check their APEdCET 2025 rank on the official APSCHE portal. To download the scorecard, the candidates can use their login credentials.
APEdCET 2025 Counselling process is conducted for shortlisted candidates for the BEd and BEd special programs across Andhra Pradesh. The counselling registration will commence from 9 September until 12 September. APEdCET seat allotment result will be announced on 18 September 2025. Candidates must report to their allocated colleges between 19 and 20 September.
APEdCET Eligibility 2026
The candidates must fulfill the APEdCET 2026 eligibility criteria:
- Are Indian nationals
- Fulfill Local/Non-Local status requirements as stated in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974, as subsequently amended.

Educational Qualification
- Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree, i.e., BA/BSc/BCom/BSc(Home Science/BCA/BBM/or in the Master’s Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto. However, candidates belonging to all other reserved categories should have secured 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
Note:- The Candidates with BE/BTech should have secured at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Age Limit
- Must have completed 19 years of age as of July 1 of the year in which the exam notification has been issued. There is no maximum age limit.
Note: The candidates who passed BE/ BTech with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and studied Mathematics and Physics are eligible for admission into the course.

As you all know that AP EdCET is conducted for students who wish to get admission in BEd course across the state. The process only includes these stages.
Registration
After the notification is released, the application form filling window is opened. In that given timeframe, the candidates must submit their form after paying the required fee.
Admit Card
You need a hall ticket to enter the examination centre. This card will also help you know where you have to appear to take the exam.
Exam Day

The exam conducting body starts the application form filling process. The notification is released with the official exam conducting body, website, and the timeline in April (can change depending on).
The candidate has to complete the AP EdCET application process in three main phases.
Registration:
- The candidate can start the process by visiting the official website for Andhra Pradesh EdCET.
- They are required to register themselves as a new candidate.
- For AP EdCET form-filling login, the user ID and the password are required, which will be created with this process.
- Candidate will also get an email from the official email ID. The mail will include the login credentials that they can use to finally start the application form-filling process.
Fill the Application Form:
- Use the emailed login credentials to fill out the form.
- Enter all the important details like their name, their Date of Birth, Nationality, and educational qualifications.
- Upload the documents in the size they’re being asked.
- Double-check before submitting the AP EdCET application form.
Fee Payment:
The application form submission isn’t successful without the fee payment. Candidates have to pay the AP EdCET application form fee using the online payment mode.
