New Courses: CGC University, Mohali has launched 4 new courses in Medical and Science field namely - Bachelor of Radiation Therapy Technology (B.RTT), Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology (B.Sc. NMT), Diploma in Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology (D.AOTT), and Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology (D.RT).

Good college to start a new life.

Placements: Around 60-70% of students got into internships from my course. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3-4 LPA. Hospitals like Fortis and GMC recruited many students. Students are working as OT techs, anaesthesia techs, etc. Overall placements were fine.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are big enough to fit average lectures and practicals. The library is good, consisting of all the books related to the course. Each department has different blocks and buildings. The hostels are great, except for the food they provide.

Faculty: As it is a university, exams are conducted right here. Teachers are knowledgeable. Sometimes exams don't include things required for students to learn for their future work. It is a bit difficult to pass in some subjects, but the semester can be cleared.

Other: I chose this course as it is medical-related. I would like to improve practical work for this course as it's important if one is in a medical field. Events occur every month to freshen up the mind of a young individual.

Overall, the college is very decent.

Placements: The placement is very good because the college invites top companies. Students give their 100 percent to achieve the best placements. There is also a DCPD special placement cell that really helps students. It helps students grab the best possible placements and gives wings to their dreams.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best parts of the college. If you see it, it will fascinate you because the buildings are well-structured and the finishing is quite good. The hostels are well-maintained. The mess and other facilities are also good. You should select this college if you want to build your future.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated and teach everything effectively. Their teaching method is excellent and very approachable. Many faculty members are experienced, and several hold PhDs. They provide good support for projects, assignments, and placement preparation. Teaching often includes practical work, presentations, and industry-oriented learning.

The college is good.

Placements: More than 90 percent of students got placed from this college. They have been bringing companies in recent days they brought in 2 Japanese companies too and will be teaching Japanese from next year. If one has skills they get placed easily it solely depends on the student and about bringing the companies, they bring.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are there but sometimes their Wi-Fi quality drops but it's fine. Libraries are available in every single block and the content available is also top-notch. About the labs some have ACs in them and some classes do too. I am not a fan of sports so I don't know much but there are courts to play like basketball, badminton, and cricket pitches too. As for the hostel it is fine, the mess food varies, it can be good but it can be bad too.

Faculty: The course is good they provide good syllabus. The faculty members who teach me are very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. They teach well. The course curriculum is fine. They make students industry-ready and they have started Capgemini training too to make students industry-ready.

Overall experience in the college is very good.

Placements: Around 90 percent of the last batch were placed. Most of the students from my batch have got an internship and the college provides different training classes for placement. In the training, we learn different types of skills and other ways to improve ourselves to get selected in the interview.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and the library are very digital and spacious. The hostels are also very clean. The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college organises different cultural programs from time to time. We can get a good value in college and the overall experience is great.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and polite. They provide online lecture PPT and good notes teachers are very qualified. They are humble. They are always there for students to support them in other things and skills.

Other: I chose an MBA because it provides good career options and future is also very good after this course. We can work in different sectors in the organisation after completing this course.

Good university to take admission now.

Placements: Many seniors have received placement and internship opportunities through campus drives. Recruiters from companies like Capgemini and Deloitte have visited campus and there is even a new Capgemini on the campus floor. There are new placements and many new things.

Infrastructure: I would say that CGC is in its building state right now and growing day by day. When I entered college now there was a big difference. Now new labs are made for everything. Labs are improved and we even got a dedicated block for BCA. There are new facilities everywhere.

Faculty: The faculty is one of the best things in college and might be different for everybody. For me it is good too, around new professors some gave real experience and some practical knowledge. Exams are good if you study good you will easily pass the exam.

Other: At the time of starting I was interested in Computer Science and Legal Studies. I wanted to pursue something I wanted to do so I chose BCA. At my time there weren't options like AI and ML but those things have also been added.

Placements: 95% of students are placed in my course because many companies come to university to offer students jobs. The highest package in CSE is 1 crore, and in my course, it is about 45 LPA. The average package is 8 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and many others visit the university. A large number of students also get internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided are very good. The infrastructure of our classes is also good. Labs are well equipped with AC and projectors in classrooms for better understanding and visualisation. Wi-Fi is available in labs and classrooms as well. The food quality in the hostel is good. There are also medical facilities, sports, and a gym.

Faculty: Faculty members of our university are very good. Their teaching style is impressive. Their behavior with students is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are of a moderate level. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: I have an interest in Data Science, so I chose this course.
