1960 was the establishment year of the Ranchi University. It has gained recognition from the UGC. The University is also accredited by the NAAC B++ Grade and is a member of AIU. At present, RU Ranchi has 23 PG departments, 15 constituent colleges, & 49 affiliated colleges, imparting education to students in multiple fields.
