The AKTU cutoff for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering for the general category is expected to be around 32075 for Round 1 and 62320 for Round 4 in the Uttar Pradesh Domicile Quota. The minimum qualifying marks required for various categories in B.Tech courses are 25% for general, 25% for OBC, 20% for SC, and 25% for ST.

Candidates who have completed graduation are eligible to apply for AKTU B.Ed course. Besides, meeting the educational requirements, candidates also need to pass IPU CET. Aspirants must check the closing rank of last three years to know the qualifying marks for AKTU B.Ed admission. IPU CET is a pen and paper-based test conducted for a duration of three hours. Yes, AKTU accepts CUET score for BTech. AKTU admission to BTech through CUET is for two specialisations:

• Agriculture
• Biotechnology

Apart from these, CUET score is accepted for direct entry to the second-year of BTech course. Candidates can apply for CUET for BTech (LE) admission.

For admission to first year of MCA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of 03 Years minimum duration from any recognised Indian University; or its equivalent, recognised by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.

According to the IET Lucknow cutoff for Round 1 in 2023, the closing ranks for all BTech specialisations ranged between 36086 and 94805. The most competitive specialisation has been B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) with a closing rank of 36086, followed by B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering with a 51075 rank for the General category students.

AKTU offers the BTech programme at the UG level in various specialisations. The university accepts , followed by the UPTAC Counselling for admission to its BTech programme. To be eligible for AKTU BTech admissions, the candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology as main subjects. The university also accepts lateral entry admissions for the BTech programme.

AKTU provides the B.Tech degree with 41 different specializations

Duration - four years.

• AKTU takes an entrance exam viz. UPSEE for entry in the B.Tech courses.
• AKTU also approves 20% of aspirants based on JEE Main score as per the State Government criteria.

Eligibility norm -

 Candidates should have finished their 12th standard exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 45% marks or more ( 40% score or more SC/ST) from an identified board.

MBA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. AKTU offers MBA at campus through the Institute of Engineering & Technology, UP Institute of Design and Faculty of Management Studies. Interested candidates should check the eligibility requirements before applying for any of the MBA courses. Aspirants who have passed the bachelor's degree/ equivalent examination can apply for the MBA course. Apart from the academic qualification, candidates also need to qualify CUET-PG to get admission to AKTU MBA course.

Candiates seeking admission to AKTU and have appeared for the CUET-UG entrance test are eligible to register themselves for the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) counselling process conducted by AKTU. Also, candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in UP or whose parents are domicile of UP subject to the eligibility conditions given in the AKTU brochure are eligible for the counselling round.
