Yes, AKTU accepts CUET score for BTech. AKTU admission to BTech through CUET is for two specialisations:

• Agriculture
• Biotechnology

Candidates need to fulfil below-mentioned criteria for passing AKTU MBA course:

For passing in Theory Subject, a student need to secure a minimum of 30% of the maximum marks prescribed in the university examination and 40% of marks in the aggregate marks in the subject including sessional marks i.e. minimum passing grade is “E”.

For passing in Project Reports / Viva voce examination / Comprehensive Viva Voce, a student shall secure a minimum of 50 % marks of the maximum marks prescribed by the University Examination in the relevant Practical/ Internship / Project/ Viva voce marks.

Seats intake for MBA at Institute of Engineering and Technology AKTU is around 27,549 in the year 2024.

AKTU seat intake varies course-wise. Candidates can get a seat in the university based on their merit or entrance exam score.

AKTU offers the BTech programme at the UG level in various specialisations. The university accepts , followed by the UPTAC Counselling for admission to its BTech programme. To be eligible for AKTU BTech admissions, the candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology as main subjects. AKTU provides the B.Tech degree with 41 different specializations

Duration - four years.

• AKTU takes an entrance exam viz. UPSEE for entry in the B.Tech courses.

The minimum passing marks for the CUET 2024 are 80–90 for A and B in Section I - Language, and 160–180 for both A and B in Section I A and Section I B. The AKTU cutoff for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering for the general category is expected to be around 32075 for Round 1 and 62320 for Round 4 in the Uttar Pradesh Domicile Quota. The minimum qualifying marks required for various categories in B.Tech courses are 25% for general, 25% for OBC, 20% for SC, and 25% for ST.

For admission to first year of MCA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of 03 Years minimum duration from any recognised Indian University; or its equivalent, recognised by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.

According to the IET Lucknow cutoff for Round 1 in 2023, the closing ranks for all BTech specialisations ranged between 36086 and 94805. The most competitive specialisation has been B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) with a closing rank of 36086, followed by B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering with a 51075 rank for the General category students.

Application process: The mode of application is online. Candidates must visit the AKTU affiliated college offering admission to B.Ed course for registration.

Selection rounds: Candidates will be shortlisted for B.Ed admission based on IPU CET score. 

Admission confirmation: After completion of the selection rounds, candidates will be called for document verification and counselling. The selected candidates will need to pay fee to confirm their seat.

First year of B.Tech is same for all branches at AKTU. Syllabus of first year is designed to introduce students with basics of all engineering branches. If the student's basics is clear  and has good academic report and knowledge of class 11th and 12th along with teacher's guidance and notes maintained of all subjects with continuous revision students can easily clear 1st year of B tech at AKTU without any back . 

Note- Back means if you got less then 30% marks in any subject in university exam then you need to appear in same exam again.

As of the rest of the degree with proper guidance and continuous revision along with good practical sessions in the labs and project work students can easily pursue B tech at AKTU. It depends on the student.

Candiates seeking admission to AKTU and have appeared for the CUET-UG entrance test are eligible to register themselves for the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) counselling process conducted by AKTU. Also, candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in UP or whose parents are domicile of UP subject to the eligibility conditions given in the AKTU brochure are eligible for the counselling round.
