Students must complete BE/BTech with 60% aggregate (54% for SC/ ST students) with a valid UPTAC rank. Those who have a valid GATE exam are also eligible for admission. However, such candidates first need to appear for the counselling session along with UPTAC rank.

AKTU Lucknow offers financial assistance in the form of scholarships to meritorious students belonging to the reserved category under the UP State Scholarship scheme regulations. Every year, the Uttar Pradesh state government releases a notification about fee reimbursement for every student of AKTU-affiliated colleges. AKTU Lucknow scholarship facilities for UG and PG students help the students with financial assistance and reward academic performance.

Students enrolled in AKTU get access to register themselves for AKTU fee-waiver scholarship schemes through the scheme of the Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Online System of UP State. To be eligible for this Stipend, only one condition is there. He or she must have qualified for the GATE entrance exam. Candidates enrolled in the Ph.D. programme at AKTU on a regular basis are eligible for a monthly stipend of INR 31,000 from MHRD for the first two years of the programme and a monthly stipend of INR 35,000 for the next three years of the course of study; after completing five years, if students are still working on their Doctoral degree, then they are provided monthly financial assistance of INR 12,000 for only one year. Ph.D. scholars are eligible for Stipend only if they have qualified for national-level entrance examinations such as UGC/ CSIR NET (JRF) examination, SET, GATE (with a valid score), or Teacher Research Fellowship.

AKTU acccepts IPU CET apart from other exams, for admission to BTech courses. The last-round closing ranks for admission were out. To get admission to BTech via IPU CET, the General AI category candidate must have a rank under 151726 for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering. For BTech in Information Technology, the rank must be below 154086 among the General AI category. Evidently, it is possible to get admission to for BTech at 150000 rank in IPU CET.

AKTU is a state-level, public collegiate university. Formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), it is a University of National Importance, specially for the UG and PG courses offered in the field of Engineering and Science. AKTU accepts JEE Main Scores for admission to the BTech and BTech Integrated courses. AKTU BTech cutoff 2024 has been concluded and as per the available data, the cutoff ranged between 30751.6 and 1413411 for the General AI category candidates. Wherein, the B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering was the most competitive course with a Last Round closing rank of 30751.6 for the General AII India category students.

Thus, the competition to gain admission for the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), AKTU is average. As per the requirement of the institute the students should have passed 10+2 examination and must have scored 50% marks in physics chemistry and mathematics. Counselling and qualification examination score are the two major factors behind the admission with Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (U. P. S. E. ) Rank being given priority importance. For some of the programs, it is also possible to apply for direct admission and this is on merit. The institute receives a lot of applications, thus, mere meeting of the eligibility criteria does not mean that one will be admitted. But, a good rank in UPSEE or a brilliant academic performance can make a candidate secure an admission to the programme of his or her choice easily.

To get admission to AKTU for UG/PG courses, candidates must appear for entrance exams such as JEE Mains/CUET/CUET-PG. Candidates must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria before applying. A minimum of Class 12 is required to apply for UG courses whereas, a bachelor's degree is required for PG programmes. Candidates can visit the official website to fill out the application for the desired course. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to appear for AKTU counselling. 

Yes, candidates seeking admission to DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University undergraduate and postgraduate courses must have appeared for the CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance exams, respectively. AKTU will not admit students who do not a valid CUET score. NTA usually releases CUET result in July. CUET UG Counselling is held and conducted separately by the participating institutes. CUET UG Counselling is usually held between Jul and Aug.

DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University is expected to conduct a total of six rounds for CUET-UG-qualified candidates. However, the cutoff rounds are conducted as per seat availability. If seats are available after AKTU round six of the counselling process, the University will release the special round to fulfil their vacant seats. 

AKTU BA admissions are done on merit basis. The basic eligibility requires the candidates to pass Class 12 or its equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Hence, you can certainly apply for the AKTU BA course admission even if you have scored less than 60% in your Class 12 boards. However, there is no guarantee of admission as the university considers various parameters at the time of selecting the students for the course.
