AMU conducts its own entrance test called Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) for admission to the MBA course. The Admission Test shall be held at Aligarh, Kolkata & Kozhikode. Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the AMU-CAT entrance test, a merit list for admission will be drawn. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list released by the University are then required to appear for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) round. The final selection is based on the candidates' performance in the counselling process, conducted by AMU.

AMU offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level. The University is currently accepting applications for its MBA courses, interested candidates must visit the official website of AMU to apply online. Aligarh Muslim University accepts AMU-CAT entrance tests for MBA admission. Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) is conducted by the University. The date of the AMU entrance exam is yet to be released by Aligarh Muslim University. However, the AMU-CAT entrance test generally conducts in June every year.

• Transfer / Migration and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended (if not enrolled at AMU)

• FIVE (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (in white background).
• Documents in support of Special Categories claimed in Application Form
• Two undertakings on plain paper – one on your behalf and the other on behalf of your parents/ guardian regarding not indulging in ragging

The AMU, Faculty of Management studies and research offers MBA in four major specialisations namely Finance, Sales & Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations along with International Business, Hospital Administration and Islamic Banking and Finance.
