AMU conducts its own entrance test called Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) for admission to the MBA course. The Admission Test shall be held at Aligarh, Kolkata & Kozhikode. Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the AMU-CAT entrance test, a merit list for admission will be drawn. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list released by the University are then required to appear for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) round. The final selection is based on the candidates' performance in the counselling process, conducted by AMU.

AMU offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level. The University is currently accepting applications for its MBA courses, interested candidates must visit the official website of AMU to apply online. Aligarh Muslim University accepts AMU-CAT entrance tests for MBA admission. Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) is conducted by the University. The date of the AMU entrance exam is yet to be released by Aligarh Muslim University. However, the AMU-CAT entrance test generally conducts in June every year.

Given below are the list documents required during the MBA admission process at AMU:

• Marks sheet/grade sheet of qualifying examination (with FOUR Self-attested photocopies)
• Transfer / Migration and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended (if not enrolled at AMU)
• Class 10, 12 & graduation certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth.
• FIVE (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (in white background).
• Documents in support of Special Categories claimed in Application Form
• Two undertakings on plain paper – one on your behalf and the other on behalf of your parents/ guardian regarding not indulging in ragging

For MBA admission at Aligarh Muslim University, candidates must have passed graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, students are also required to appear in an entrance exam, conducted by AMU and score well in order to secure a seat for the MBA course.

AMU admission to all these courses is completely entrance-based and depends' on candidates' performance in CAT or an online written test, conducted by the University.  Candidates seeking admission to any of the above-mentioned AMU MBA courses must have passed graduation in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. 

The AMU, Faculty of Management studies and research offers MBA in four major specialisations namely Finance, Sales & Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations along with International Business, Hospital Administration and Islamic Banking and Finance. Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including  BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. From the academic session 2022, all the central universities along with a few state-deemed universities and private universities started accepting CUET scores for admission to their UG and PG courses.
