Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. From the academic session 2022, all the central universities along with a few state-deemed universities and private universities started accepting CUET scores for admission to their UG and PG courses.

For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. No, the university is open to all irrespective of caste, creed, religion or gender. All one has to do is fulfill the eligibility criteria and secure a seat in this university. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are the AMU Entrance Exam, CUET, and others. Aligarh Muslim University do follow a reservation policy which can be checked from the official website. Recently, in a press statement as released by the Indian Express, Aligarh University member clarified that the university has never followed a policy of reserving seats for Muslims. “It rather reserves 50% seats for internal students regardless of their religion or caste, ”.

AMU MBBS cut off 2023 is based on NEET scores and finally on NEET Counselling. NEET 2023 Counselling has been released up to Round 4. The university also offers BDS courses. The counselling for BDS has been concluded after Round 5. AMU Medical cutoff for NEET UG Last Round seat allotment was 8597 for MBBS and 31517 for BDS for the General category candidates belonging to All India Quota.
