AMAT exam pattern 2026 has been devised by the Alliance University. The AMAT question paper includes five sections, i.e. Quantitative, Conceptual, General English, Comprehension and General Awareness. The Alliance AMAT 2026 will be conducted for one hour in an offline mode this year. Candidates are required to appear for the Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT), which is designed on the pattern of MAT/GMAT, along with a component of Essay Writing. The Alliance AMAT syllabus is based on five major sections, i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Language Ability, and Analytical Reasoning. The important topics for these sections are:

Q:   What is the marking scheme of Alliance AMAT?
A: 

There are five sections in the Alliance AMAT exam. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes or one hour. And there is total of 65 multiple-choice question. Each question carries one mark each and 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer marked by the candidate. The exam is conducted in the paper-based test mode or offline.

AMAT 2026 Marking Scheme

Following is the marking scheme for AMAT 2026:

  • For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded.

  • For each wrong attempt, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

  • Every section of the AMAT question paper carries an equal weightage of 15 marks, but the last section carries five marks.

  • No marks are deducted or awarded for unanswered questions.
