ALLIANCE-AMAT 2026: Exam Dates, Application Form (OUT), Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

The application window for the January batch of Alliance AMAT will close on January 10, 2025. This year too, the exam will be conducted in two batches. The last date to apply for Alliance-AMAT is the same for the July 2025 batches.

Candidates need to pass bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates) to apply for the Alliance University MBA course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Apart from fulfiling the qualifications, candidates also need to pass NMAT,  CAT,  Alliance-MAT,  KMAT or NMAT,  NMAT,  KMAT or GMAT for admission to MBA course followed by Oral Extempore Presentation and personal interview. The school also considers the academic performance of the aspirants for providing admission.

There are five sections in Alliance AMAT exam. Duration of exam is 60 minutes or one hour. And there is total of 56 MCQs Each question carries one mark each and 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer marked by the candidate. The exam is conducted in the paper-based test mode or offline.

The mode of application is online for all courses. Candidates need to pay an application fee to apply for admission. The application fee for MBA is INR 1,000.

Selection Rounds

Candidates need to qualify MAT, CAT, ALLIANCE-MAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, KMAT score, Oral Extempore Speech followed by PI for MBA course. 

Merit List & Counselling

As per the performance of the candidates in the selection rounds, a merit list is released by the school. Candidates with their names in the merit list are required to appear for the counselling round. They need to pay the fee to confirm their admission.

Alliance AMAT exam will be conducted twice a year in the computer based test format. Students planning to appear for the Alliance AMAT exam have to visit the exam centre and the take the exam online.

There is no age limit to appear for Alliance AMAT. The Alliance AMAT exam is open for fresh graduates as well as working professionals. The minimum age limit for has to be 20 years (approx) as the minimum qualification for Alliance AMAT exam is graduation. Yes, each question will carry one mark in Alliance AMAT. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks foe very wrong answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions

Alliance AMAT exam has 65 questions. These questions will be in the multiple choice format. Each question will have four options each.

Students should carry following documents:

• Coloured passport size photograph
• Photo ID proof
• Coloured copy of Alliance AMAT admit card

Candidates appearing for the Alliance AMAT exam must carry a coloured copy of the Alliance AMAT admit card. They must paste a recent coloured passport-size photograph on the admit card. Candidates must also carry a blue or black ball point pen to the exam centre. They must not carry any other stationery item to the Alliance AMAT test centre. Candidates also need to carry a transparent water bottle and a small sanitizer bottle. No other item such as bags, watches, food, etc. will be allowed inside the Alliance AMAT exam centre. If any candidate is found with an prohibited item, he/she will be disqualified.

Yes, Alliance University appears to have a good MBA programme with a focus on placements. Here's what I found:

• Placements: Alliance University boasts a dedicated Career Advancement and Networking (CAN) cell that helps students with interview preparation, mock GDs and PIs .
• 2023 Placements: In 2023, over 600 companies participated in their placement drive, offering more than 6000 opportunities . The highest package offered was INR 60.1 LPA and the average package was INR 8.3 LPA .
• Specializations: They offer MBA programs in specializations like Data Analytics, Logistics & SCM, Investment Banking, HR and Sales & Digital Marketing.

No, candidates have to carry a coloured printout of the Alliance AMAT admit card to the Alliance AMAT exam centre to get an entry. Alliance AMAT admit card is a mandatory document which is to be carried to the exam centre along with a recent coloured passport size photograph affixed to it. The photograph should match the one uploaded in the Alliance AMAT application form.
