For an overall good score, candidates need to divide the 90 minutes properly, so that they don’t lag behind in any of the sections.

KLMAT is conducted in 3-4 phases. Candidates can choose the exam phase and apply accordingly. The KLMAT application process for every phase has different deadline. Applicants have to make sure they submit the form before the deadline to appear in the given exam session. Otherwise, will have to wait for the next session. The KLMAT sessions are conducted from December to May.
KLMAT exam is a speed based test of 90 minutes. Candidates have to solve about 75 questions from English, GK, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning sections. Every questions carries one mark. The candidates must practice at least 15-20 MBA mock tests. Practicing that many will make them well prepared for all types of questions in the exam - tricky, lengthy, easy, tough, etc. They should practice the mock tests in the latest format of the exam (jumbled questions from across the sections).

There will be an onscreen calculator that candidates can use to do calculations and rough work during the exam. The examination authority will also provide rough sheets to candidates to do manual calculations if they don't wish to use the on-screen calculator.
