Annamalai University Admission 2025: UG, PG, PhD, Courses, Eligibility, Application Form, Dates

Read on to learn more about Annamalai University course admissions. Annamalai University offers UG, PG, PG diploma, diploma, certificate, and PhD programmes. It also provides courses through distance learning, which are approved by the Distance Education Council (DEC). In addition to the regular programmes, value-added courses in all the departments of Annamalai University are conducted every day after the class timings. Additionally, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) conducted through the SWAYAM portal of the UGC are also offered at Annamalai University free of cost.

The Annamalai University application process 2025 is conducted online through its official website. Students who wish to apply for more than one course offered by Annamalai University, are required to fill out a separate application form for each course. Given below is the -wise Annamalai University application process:

1: Visit the official website of Annamalai University (www.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in). On its homepage, click on “Admissions On-Campus Portal”.

2: On the left menu of the landing page, click on the 'Application Online' link which opens a drop-down menu.

3: Click on the stream containing the programme for which you wish to apply. On clicking the stream tab, a new page opens up.

4: On this page, the prospectus of all the programmes is available, followed by registration links. Click on the programme for which you wish to apply under the 'New Applicant' tab.

5: The registration page opens up. Register by filling in details, including name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. Also, create an alphanumeric password for future logins. Hit the ‘Submit’ button once done.

6: The Annamalai University application form opens up. Fill in other details, including personal information, qualifications, guardian details, etc.

7: Select the payment method. In case of offline payment, visit the nearest ICICI Bank to deposit the money using net banking.

8: Upload all the required documents in PDF format along with a passport-size photo of less than 50 kb in JPEG/ JPG format.

9: Conclude the application process by taking a printout of the application form.

Documents Required at the Time of Application Process

Students need to upload scanned copies of the below-mentioned documents while filling out the application form. Also, self-attested Xerox copies of these documents have to be attached and sent to the University address along with the downloaded copy of the application form:

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets/ grade certificates
• UG/ PG mark sheets/ grade certificates (if applicable)
• Proof of date of birth
• Transfer and conduct/ Migration certificate from the previous institution
• Passport-size photograph
• Community certificate (for SC/ ST/ OBC Students)
• Medical certificate
• Certificate of extra-curricular activities (if applicable)

Annamalai University provides scholarships to SC, SCA, ST, Converted Christian, BC, MBC, and DNC students. The Higher Education Special Scholarship applies to the students of hostel barrier of SC/SCA/ST who have an annual income under INR 2.5 lakh. Other scholarships are available to BC/MBC/DNC students whose family income is not more than INR 2 lakh a year. The University also maintain Equal Opportunity and SC/ST Cells to advise the students on how to avail financial aid.
