The university offers four-year full-time BE/BTech courses in various specialisations on-campus and through affiliated colleges. In addition, apart from the regular BE degree, Annamalai University also offers part-time BE courses covering four specialisations. BE Lateral entry courses are also available. Annamalai University BTech fees range between INR 1.5 Lacs - INR 7 lakh. The fee mentioned here is the total tuition fee with some other components and is taken from an unofficial source, hence is indicative. The online/distance degrees offered by the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Annamalai University are valid. Previously, the University Grants Commission (UGC) did not approve its courses starting from 2015. However, Annamalai University DDE  received relief from the Madras High Court in an order dated 21.01.2023. Subsequently, following a reassessment by the UGC, Annamalai DDE achieved a qualifying score of 3.38, which led to extending the validity of its programmes until 2027.

Annamalai University DDE offers courses at UG, PG, Diploma and certificate levels in distance education mode.
