Applicants should have a graduation degree in relevant subjects with 50% at least aggregates to secure an admission in the M.Tech programme at Annamalai University. The degree should be acquired in a certified university. The applicants should also present themselves in the CEETA or TANCET entrance examination. Counselling and final selection are made only on qualified people.
Most of the universities and institutes accept candidates for its M.Tech programme based on fulfilment of a specified set of eligibility criteria. Candidates can apply for Annamalai University admission in online mode through its official website. Interested applicants also need to pay a course-specific application fee to conclude the application process. The university is ranked among the top three Universities in India for best distance education providers. The University has educated over 4.5 Lacs students in the past and continues to teach over thousands more. Hence, it is a good university for candidates wanting to study a distance course.
The online/distance degrees offered by the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Annamalai University are valid. Previously, the University Grants Commission (UGC) did not approve its courses starting from 2015. However, Annamalai University DDE received relief from the Madras High Court in an order dated 21.01.2023. Subsequently, following a reassessment by the UGC, Annamalai DDE achieved a qualifying score of 3.38, which led to extending the validity of its programmes until 2027.
Annamalai University highest package data is not released. However, as per NIRF report 2025, BTech and MTech median package recorded in 2024 was 2.5 LPA and 4.26 LPA. MBA median package in 2024 was 2.45 LPA.
