June 9, 2025: ARKA JAIN University celebrated its 3rd Convocation Ceremony — a significant milestone in its continued pursuit of knowledge, innovation, and leadership. The university was honoured to welcome His Excellency Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand, as the Chief Guest, and Shri Champai Soren, Hon’ble MLA from Seraikela and Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, as the Guest of Honour.

Prof. (Dr.) Easwaran Iyer, Vice Chancellor, congratulated all the graduating students, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. Prof. (Dr.) Angad Tiwary, Pro Vice Chancellor, inspired the students to aim high and carry forward the values they’ve imbibed during their time at ARKA JAIN University. In his keynote address, His Excellency the Governor spoke passionately about the National Education Policy 2020, urging young minds and institutions alike to play a proactive role in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. He praised ARKA JAIN University for its commitment to excellence in higher education and lauded its achievement of becoming Jharkhand’s first NAAC A Grade accredited university.
Arka Jain University Hosts Women Leadership Summit on International Women’s Day
May 7, 2025: Arka Jain University organized a Women Leadership Summit to promote empowerment and gender equality. Esteemed speakers including Padma Shri mountaineer Premlata Agrawal, scientist Dr. Meeta Tarafdar, HR leader Neelanjana Mohanty, CA and social entrepreneur Nikita Mehta, and artist Shweta Singh shared inspiring journeys.
They emphasized equal opportunities, menstrual awareness, and financial independence. The summit highlighted the need for scholarships, internships, and workplace inclusion. Richa Garg opened the event, stressing the importance of accessible opportunities. The program was led by Dr. Charu Wadhwa and Dr. Urvashi Thakur.

Arka Jain University Achieves Record Campus Placements with GlobalLogic
May 7, 2025: Arka Jain University witnessed a major placement success as GlobalLogic Technologies (Hitachi Group) selected 60 final-semester students during its recent campus drive. Students from BBA, B.Com, BCA, BA-English, and B.Sc-Biotech were offered roles as Associate Analysts with packages ranging from ?2.2 to ?3 LPA.
The job location is Gurgaon. University officials hailed this as a proud milestone and credited the success to the collective efforts of faculty, students, and the placement team. GlobalLogic, a global digital product engineering leader, operates across 15 countries and employs over 28,000 professionals worldwide.
IBM Day at Arka Jain University: Students Gain Practical Insights into AI and Generative AI
May 7, 2025: Arka Jain University’s Department of Computer Science and IT celebrated IBM Day with a two-day workshop focused on AI and Generative AI. IBM experts Aman Bakshi and Rahul Batra introduced students to cutting-edge tools like Watson, data science, machine learning, and blockchain. Data scientist Gaurav Kumar led hands-on sessions using IBM tools.
Over 150 BCA, MCA, and B.Tech students participated enthusiastically. The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by university leaders and was coordinated by faculty members Syed Rashid Anwar and Akash Bhagat. The workshop aimed to bridge academic learning with real-world tech advancements.
Arka Jain University Hosts ‘Hack-Horizon 2K25’, Showcasing Innovation and Talent
May 7, 2025: Arka Jain University organized the two-day national hackathon ‘Hack-Horizon 2K25’, drawing over 500 students from across India. Chief guest Anurag Agnihotri (Tata Steel) urged students to lead in innovation and research. MoUs were signed with Paul Tech and Ardent Computech to boost industry exposure.
The 24-hour hackathon displayed exceptional talent in coding and problem-solving. Experts from across India conducted sessions on startups and tech innovation. University leaders praised the students’ efforts, calling the event a milestone in AJU’s tech journey. The event closed with a vote of thanks and a renewed commitment to fostering future innovators.

May 6, 2025: Arka Jain University – Fashion Forward 2.0 was a grand affair held at The United Club, Jamshedpur. Organized by the Department of Fashion Design, the event brought the glamour and excitement of a high-end fashion week right to our city!
Designers from across the country took to the stage, showcasing their creativity and unique collections. Our very own budding designers impressed the audience with their talent, originality, and confidence on the runway. A special highlight of the evening was the presence of renowned Lakmé Fashion Week designer, Padma Raj Keshri, whose work added immense value to the show.
It was the first time Jamshedpur experienced a fashion show of this scale, and it left a lasting impression on everyone who attended.
