Q:   What is the selection process for MBA and what is the minimum CAT percentile required?
A: 

The minimum cut off for MBA changes every year and the minimum CAT percentile in order to get admission to any IIM or top MBA colleges in india according to 2022 is 90 percentile.The admission process for MBA varies from institute to institute.After the candidate is selected in the entrance exam there will be a GD round.The selected candidates then attend the personal interview round.The students are then shortlisted and given admission to the merit students.

Q:   What is the eligibility for MBA at Biju Patnaik University of Technology?

Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) offers MBA programme at PG level. The eligible candidates must appear for the entrance exam for the selection at the university. Below mentioned is the eligibility and selection critera:

Graduation in management course with minimum 50% aggregate

Entrance Exam: OJEE

Q:   What is the eligibility for OJEE exam for admission to MBA course at BPUT?
A: 

Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the OJEE Cell for admission to BPharm, MBA/PGDM, MCA, and M.Tech courses. The OJEE exam is accepted by BPUT for admission to its MBA course. Candidates must qualify for the below requirements to be eligible for OJEE admission:

  • Age Limit: There is no age bar for the candidates appearing for postgraduate courses, however, candidates appearing for BAMS/BHMS or Pharma must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31

  • Nationality: Candidates appearing for OJEE must be citizens of India. If they wish to take admissions to government colleges in Odisha then the candidates must be a native of Odisha. 

  • Minimum Educational Qualification: As for postgraduate courses, the candidate must hold a DiplomaorBachelorsdegree from a recognised university or institute from a relevant stream.

  • Work experience: OJEE exam eligibility criteria do not include work experience. Both working and non-working candidates can apply for the exam.

Q:   Is there any seat reservation policy followed for MBA course at Biju Patnaik University of Technology?
A: 

Biju Patnaik University of Technology might follow the seat reservation policy while allocating MBA seats. Since MBA admission is subject to the OJEE 2025 exam score, the seats are distributed as per the State Government's reservation policy for seat allotment. This includes reservations for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and more.

My college is good, with supportive faculty members, great placements, & a good environment.
Placements: There are 80% of students admitted to our department. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package is between 6 and 8 LPA. TCS and Wipro are the top companies that visit our college. 75% of students get internships at companies like TCS and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is the best part that I enjoy. Labs are good. Classrooms are big, and AC is fitted in the classrooms. Hostel food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and their knowledge is top-notch. They teach using projectors so that students understand easily. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. According to students, the semester examinations are not that hard, and a student can pass easily. Teachers are comfortable with students and are supportive.
Other: I chose this course because I love coding and problem-solving. I want to work in the IT sector. I think AI-related topics would be better for our course. Events are good. The campus crowd is not very noisy.

Overall, this is the best and an awesome college for the M.Tech in CSE course.
Placements: Approximately 66 percent of students participated. The highest package offered was 35 LPA, the lowest was 10 LPA, and the average was 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Adobe, Intuit, Bosch, and others. About 60% of students received internships. The top jobs offered were Software Architect, Embedded Systems Engineer, and more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was poor. No cars were suitable. There were no sporting or artistic contests, except for the annual events. Overall, the infrastructure received very bad reviews.
Faculty: Faculty at my college were excellent and assisted with the challenging portions of the tests. Every student received a good education. Faculty members helped students learn new subjects. I had a 90% pass rate. The curriculum for the course was suitable. Faculty was adequate. Some students received unjustified criticism from the faculty
Other: The institutions in the industrial city were considered the worst. It was not recommended to join here.

Average placements, good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are good but not so fantastic. This year, only Aravinda Pharma visited our college. Many students chose off-campus jobs. This year, the highest package offered was 3.2 LPA and the lowest package offered was 1.8 LPA. Most students got selected in different production units in the pharma sector.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. The college campus is small. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus and CCTV security is provided. The classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. There are two hostels: one boys' hostel outside the campus and a girls' hostel inside the campus. There is a library in the center. The campus has a cricket ground, a volleyball court, and a badminton court.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly qualified and experienced. They have completed their postgraduate and master's degrees. Yes, the course curriculum is very good and it is important for jobs in the industry. There are two semesters in a year conducted by the University BPUT, and each semester has two sessionals.

Overall, this is the best college for the M.Tech in CSE course.
Placements: Approximately 75 percent of students were admitted to our college. CyRAACS, eSec Forte, NVIDIA, and other companies were among the leading recruiting firms. The roles offered included Cybersecurity Expert, Data Scientist, and related positions. The highest package offered was 30 LPA, the lowest was 7 LPA, and the average package was 15 LPA. Approximately 70% of students were provided with employment opportunities.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were good, with excellent infrastructure. The hostel was clean and tidy. The college had excellent infrastructure,. It included huge labs. The hostel included laundry facilities. Campus provided free Wi-Fi that was available 24/7. The food was tasty and visually appealing. Medical clinics were within the hostel. The college also gave importance to sports and athletics.
Faculty: Professors at our college were highly skilled and competent. It helped students understand concepts easily and learn new things at high-level. Many students worked on technology-based projects in their final year. The teaching staff was helping students achieve better results in semester examinations. The overall pass percentage was more than 85%.

Best college for M.Tech in CSE course.
Placements: College recruiting was completely natural. MBA placements for the 2020-22 cohort received a package of 12 LPA. Top package was 21 LPA. The college had a good placement team with several corporate partnerships. Some well-known recruiters included Dell, Capgemini, and Samsung. Top positions were cloud engineer, game developer, and others.
Infrastructure: We were encouraged to play sports when we enjoyed them. Apart from studying, they also gave some time to sports. We won many championships and prizes in sports competitions held at the zonal level. The laboratories were well-maintained with all necessary facilities.
Faculty: They just explained the entire issue through their program, answering our questions at any time and from any location. Our college prepared students for challenging tasks by covering unit tests with internal and model tests. This allowed students to handle semesters with ease, and our college pass rate was 90%.
