According to Architecture NIRF report, median package recorded during BIT Mesra BArch placements 2025 was INR 3.5 LPA. 22 students were placed and 6 students were selected for higher studies out of 29 graduating students.

However, candidates with a valid score in JEE Main, NEET-UG or CUCET are eligible for skipping BITCHEM for BSc admission.

This is necessary for getting scribe facility and PwD facility at the test centre. The CAT application form is same for students from all categories. Those belonging to a particular category (SC/ST/PwD) will be required to mention it in the relevant field of the CAT form.

JEE Main syllabus is based on class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Maths topics. The syllabus of CAT exam is divided in 3 sections of 40 min each with Verbal Ability (VA) for 24 questions, Data interpretation and logical reasoning for 20 questions and Quantitative Aptitude for 22 questions. The syllabus is pretty easy and quants is only what's taught before 10th in Maths. VA includes 16 question for reading comprehension and 8 for Vocabulary.

BIT Mesra has received decent ranking for its MBA programme. Its NIRF rankings has improved from 78 in 2022 to77 in 2023. Moreover, BIT Mesra is also the fourth best institute among NIRF ranked colleges in Jharkhand in 2023.
