Overall, the college is good.
Placements: 75 percent of students got placement in 2024 from the mechanical branch. The highest, the lowest, and the average package are 13 LPA, 5 LPA, and 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tata, Volvo, Maruti Suzuki, Reliance, etc. Approximately 20 percent of students got internships in companies like Reliance and Tata Steel as associates. There are many roles offered in this course, like thermal energy engineer, CAD/CAR engineer, automobile engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a very good Wi-Fi connection inside the campus, like in the hostel, classrooms, and labs. The classrooms are very clean, with AC, projectors, and well-ventilated. The labs are also good. We have a lab for every course. The hostels are neat and clean. Every day, the hostels are cleaned and the washrooms also, but the hostel rooms are to be cleaned by the students after that particular room.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, with some years of teaching experience. They are available for doubt clearing from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM in their respective office. This course curriculum is relevant, and it does make students industry-ready. As per the question, it is easy to pass the semester, but to get good marks, some hard work is needed.
Other: It becomes crowded in the evening, but at any other time it is not that crowded.

It feels really cool to be a part of BIT Mesra.
Placements: 85% of students are placed. The highest package is about 25 LPA, and the lowest package is about 9 LPA. The average package for our course is about 12.5 LPA. Around 40% of students get internships in companies. The top roles offered in our course are executive posts in many companies and factories for manufacturing industries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so good. Our hostels are literally the best, and in every season, we get all facilities that are required. We have Wi-Fi, and all laboratories and classrooms are equipped with smart screens and AC. The food in the mess is quite good, and we also have a night canteen in every hostel. Also, we have a dispensary for all our medical needs.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and well-qualified. The semester exams in college are quite tough, and the pass percentage is 40%. Students must practice well for exams to avoid backlogs, which is not a good thing, as the back papers can be much stressful for people.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go into a core branch. I think teachers should interact more with students. The college manages events on time every year, and the campus surroundings are very good. It also focuses on extracurricular activities.

If someone wants a good career in the corporate, then this is the best college.
Placements: Approximately 85% of students get placed. The highest package is 12 LPA. ZS Associates and Tata Steel are some of the top recruiting companies for my course. 3% of students get internships. Graduate Engineer Trainee and Analyst are some of the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are good. The quality of the food is good, but the taste is not good. Hostel cleanliness is good. There is good exposure to medical facilities, sports, and games. The mess menu totally depends on the mess committee. You'll get potatoes in every vegetable.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult to pass. If someone is caught cheating in an exam, they will face unfair means, similar to a semester back.
Other: I got this course because of my JEE rank. My interest in this course is the best thing. Papon and Monali Thakur are some top stars who come for fests.

It is a good choice to consider.
Placements: For the batch of 2024, 78% out of the total 120 students got placed with an average package of 7 LPA. The highest package is 13 LPA and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are - Reliance, Tata Steel, and ZS Associate. Almost 20 students got internships. Top roles offered are data analyst, GET, business analyst, and DAA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch, with the best noise cancellation classrooms, projectors, and Wi-Fi, which is available 24x7 both on campus and hostel. Mess food is comparatively better than in other places and is served 4 times a day. Medical facilities are good here.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and have a good understanding of subjects. Most of them are IITs. The course curriculum is not that relevant, with respect to the industry level. Semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 40% for every subject and achievable.
Other: I got this course because of my rank in JEE Main. The best thing about the course is the lab experiments we perform, all apparatus are functional here. The course is a little hectic, this is one thing I would want to be better at as we don't get enough time to prepare something else. Events and fests are great here. Especially Bitotsav is one event that lasts for about 3 days and famous people come to our college. Campus life is too good. Scholarships are also decent for non-general students.

Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Apart from off campus, the placement of the college especially in this branch is not up to mark. Almost 40% of students got placed in our college. Students get internship in third year mostly in Reliance Company in our branch. The average salary package of this year was about 8 LPA - 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a Wi-Fi facility in our college as well as a hostel. The food in the mess is good compared to other colleges. There is smart laundry provided in hostels. Free medical facilities are also provided. There are both digital as well as normal reading rooms in the library. Overall campus life is very good.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified. They are very liberal, especially of mechanical branch. The curriculum is same as all B.Teach courses around. The semester examination are fair enough. Provided with relatively grading system. There is mentor assigned for each and every student.
Other: The campus is friendly and ragging-free. Of course, there are many social and cultural events including a cultural college fest held every march. There are many clubs for other curriculum activities and interests.

Satisfied with the overall course and faculty members. Fee charge is too much but it is good.
Placements: As a fresher, detailed placement data is not known but seniors told us that it's fine. However, for past mechanical engineering batches, 8 out of 10 students were placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiters include Tata Motors, L&T, and Mahindra. Internships are secured by about 60% of students in companies like Atlas Copco and Mahindra. Core roles offered in design and manufacturing.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good enough but the facilities in hostels after 1st year are poor. Food quality in the first year is nice. The infrastructure is also good. Wi-Fi facility is good and anyone can access it. Labs are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. All teachers are from Jharkhand or Bengal so they are a bit poor in English. But they teach average at the end and we have to study on our own. Curriculum is not much relevant as I thought. Semester exams are very tough. Quizzes and other assignments are conducted to fetch us numbers. But the course is a little old-fashioned, not on par with the premier institutions. The administration is cooperative.
Other: I chose this course as it is on par with its NITs. But the tag value and the money they charge on everything is not worth it. They should stop increasing it every day.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.
Placements: The institute has a good reputation, and its placements are excellent. In the past, the institute has provided many good placements for its students. The average package offered by the institute is 15 LPA. Many well-known companies, such as JP Morgan, Google, and Microsoft, visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi was established in 1955. Since then, the campus has been developed to include good infrastructure and hostel facilities. The rooms are good and the surrounding area is very impressive. Overall, the campus is very good.
Faculty: The faculty members at this institute are very good. They are very helpful and cooperative, and guide the students very well. The curriculum is very good, and the semester is divided into two quizzes: one mid-semester and one end-of-semester.
Other: I always wanted to study mechanical engineering. Based on my JEE marks, I was allotted this college. At first, I thought it would be difficult to adjust to college life. But I gradually adjusted, and now I am enjoying hostel life.

BIT Mesra, the GFTI of India.
Placements: Almost everyone gets placed here. The placement is very good. Many big companies visit our campus every year and offer placements. The highest package is around 20–30 lacs, the medium is 12–13 lacs, and the lowest is 6 lacs. Microsoft and Reliance are the major companies.
Infrastructure: The rooms have enough space; we are provided with a bedside table, chair, fan, windows, and almirah. We have facilities like LAN and Wi-Fi throughout the campus; the college has a big library and a number of labs; for different departments, the facilities are satisfactory.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. They are very well educated, and all of them have pursued higher education from reputed colleges. The curriculum is very smooth, it can be managed very easily, and it also gives students enough time to enjoy their lives. Semester exams aren't very tough. About 80% of students pass the exams easily.
Other: I chose this course because I was passionate about mechanical energy. Everything is good here; there's no need for improvement. Fests are held regularly here.
