The college canteen needs to be opened, but overall everything else is fine.

Placements: 80 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 2. 70 LPA. I don't know about the lowest. Unlike engineering colleges, law colleges do not have the facility of direct placement, but our college students are placed in various famous law firms like Fox and Mondol. Usually after passing out, students practice directly in courts like Calcutta High Court, Alipur Court or Baruipur Court. Students get the opportunity to do an internship in the 10th semester, then the college offers internships to renowned lawyers of Calcutta High Court and to the Senior Standing Council.

Infrastructure: The college has facilities of smart classrooms, AC, free Wi-Fi, and an accessible library. However, there is a problem with the canteen in our college. There are medical facilities, and students can play various indoor and outdoor games during their off period.

Faculty: As I said before, the faculty members are very student-friendly. In addition to law, sociology, psychology, and economics are taught, although they are included in the syllabus. All those who teach these subjects, except law, have PhD scholars twice a week, two ex-justices, one of whom is a judge of Calcutta High Court and the other a judge of Alipore Court, conduct practical classes for us where they teach the students about the practical field. Semester exams are quite difficult but the pass percentage is overall 80 percent. Faculty members are very student-friendly. They have expertise in almost all subjects, many of the faculty members are PhD scholars.

Other: I have chosen this course so that I can serve the community and protect my client's interest against injustice. I thought of improving this by noting that, according to the syllabus, some subjects are supposed to be taught first, such as jurisprudence. Events and fests are conducted well in this college, along with academic events like moot court, debate, cultural and sports events are also conducted. Our college has the facility of legal aid camps and a legal aid room where free legal advice is given to the general public, and the students themselves are responsible for that.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, good practice in law, & really good infrastructure & facilities.

Placements: 100 students were placed in my course. It is a law college, so no companies directly recruited us, but if you wanted to, then our college referred many lawyers. Provide good practice from moot court. Our college produces good quality advocates. Many high court advocates visited our college and gave the best advice to students.

Infrastructure: Our college has a library, moot court room, comfortable AC classrooms, clean toilets, and very helpful faculty members. Our college also has a canteen that is very hygienic and provides good quality food. Additionally, our college has ample space for sports like badminton, cricket, football, etc. They also provide the opportunity to practice law practically.

Faculty: Our college has good faculty members. The teachers in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Yes, this course definitely creates good lawyers. Semester exams are good, not too difficult. The passing percentage is 98. Our college organized the moot court competition and awarded prizes for the first and second position teams.

The college is good. The faculty is nice. The office work is smooth, and infrastructure is good.

Placements: Roles like judicial magistrate, judges, and lawyers are offered by the college. The top judges are from Calcutta University, Faculty of Law in West Bengal. Maximum students get internships in district courts, high courts, and city civil courts too.

Infrastructure: Classrooms, moot court rooms, and seminar halls are very nice. The library facilities are also worth mentioning. The canteen is good and affordable. We have a sports committee for sports. The hostel is average. The cultural committee is also nice.

Faculty: Teachers are top-qualified and really helpful. They provide all notes. They make students ready to file cases and do legal drafting. Internals are more or less easy. Externals are also held at intervals. The course curriculum is covered very smoothly anyway.

Other: Fests are not organised. A little more participation in inter-college fests would be a refreshment for students.

Good learning atmosphere with impressive infrastructure and supportive environment.

Placements: We have an entrance exam for admission to our colleges under the University of Calcutta. My total package is Rs. 3,21,000, but the new package is Rs. 41,000. Almost all of our students have had internship opportunities at good law firms in Kolkata. Our college organised a farewell ceremony for our passing out batch.

Infrastructure: Academic facilities include solid Wi-Fi across the campus, computer labs, and a moot court hall. Seminar rooms and a few hill spots where students hang out between classes. The campus also has enough green areas to sit and study or just relax, which adds to the atmosphere. Our college provides its own hostel. The hostel rooms are very clean and beautiful. The food is quite good, and hygiene rules are being followed. Our canteen's food is so good. There are different varieties of foods. Our college also provides medical facilities, sports, and games.

Faculty: Our faculty are very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most teachers have PhD degrees. Even though each teacher has their own style, almost all of them try to include case law discussions, class debates, or small activities so we don't get bored with only theory. The teacher-student ratio is pretty decent. There are 9 semester exams and one practical exam. To pass the semester, you need to get 30% marks.

Other: I always had an interest in debating, understanding how laws work, and basically figuring out why things in society are the way they are. I chose the integrated B.A. LL.B. Course because I wanted a strong base in social sciences along with the legal subjects, and this programme gives both. I picked Heritage Law College mainly because of its reputation for moots, internships, and a decent faculty lineup. The administration is supportive, whether it's academic support, career guidance, or extracurricular activities. There are seminars, workshops, competitions, cultural programs, and of course, the big annual fest, which is usually the main highlight.

My experience at Heritage Law College.

Placements: The minimum percentage of students who get placed from my course is 90 percent. The package vary. As law students, we can choose different career paths, and the package depends on that. Almost 95 percent of students got internships and later got hired by multiple big companies like Infosys and big law firms all over India. Also, the post-graduation acceptance rate in various prestigious universities is high.

Infrastructure: Different facilities like the library, moot court, and seminar halls are available. We have a well-curated library available for every student. Also well-lit and air-conditioned big classrooms are available, well-equipped with materials needed for high-tech education. The hostels are hygienic and affordable for students, with three meals a day and snacks provided. Also, we have various canteens providing healthy, hygienic, and affordable food around the campus.

Faculty: Our faculty members are highly educated and experienced in their respective fields. They are very helpful and friendly and always available to help us quench our curiosity and solve any problem we might have regarding our academics. The curriculum is very in-depth and well articulated, which helps us in real-life scenarios. Other than semester exams, we also have numerous class tests, viva, and moot courts, which not only prepare us for final exams but also help us in our careers.

Other: The course and exams are well curated, but the only improvement I suggest is more real-life experiences.
