The best college in Sealdah must be visited.
Placements: There are a total of 150 students in our course. Best college in the Sealdah locality. The highest package is 50,000, and the lowest is 15,000. Courses are offered in our package. 77% of telecom companies got internships from our college. My course consists of eco, HRM, accounts, etc.
Infrastructure: Nice place for sharp minds, a very creative college. We have labs, union rooms, a gym, canteens, and a place for playing games in our free time. Teachers are good, and the food provided in the canteen is just awesome. I always visit the canteen for lunch.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality is beyond my experience, and the course curriculum is relevant. Semesters are easy to crack if you study properly. The knowledge of the teachers is much better than that of any other college, and it also makes the students industry-ready.
Other: This course is easy and convenient. Events and fests are also held in the college.

My college is very good.
Placements: 70% of students get placed in my course. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. The average package offered in my course ranges from 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for the course are Daikin Global, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Above 90% of students got internships from my course. Top roles offered in my course are manager, chief executive manager, project head, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for my course/department are free unlimited Wi-Fi, science labs, geography labs, and fresh and furnished classrooms. The library is full of books. The quality of facilities in my hostel is great. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games is totally great. I would rate it 10 out of 10.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills and qualities are great. When they are teaching us, it is like our parents are teaching us. The course curriculum is 100% relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams in this college is high because there is no mercy in studies. The pass percentage is 65%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to know and learn about it. The best thing about this course is that it is very interesting to study. The thing I wish would be better about my course is to give more time so that it can be revised properly.

Placements and faculty members of K. K. Das College.
Placements: I don't know about the placements because government colleges usually don't give placements to students. There is a recruitment which took place in the month of July by P. C. Chandra Jewellers. Usually, companies need accountants so they check whether the student has passed all the exams or not.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. There are computers for assignment or project purposes and library for research. Wi-Fi availability is non-existent. Games are also available like table tennis, badminton, cricket, carrom, etc. The canteen is well decorated and music is also played which creates a soothing decorum but the food is varying according to days.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Teachers are helpful and proficient in their respective fields. The teaching quality is also good as well as the curriculum. Also sorry to say it doesn't make students industry-ready. Exams are difficult on odd semesters. The pass percentage is 30% in each subject.

It is extremely value for money for what we pay.
Placements: 70% of students get placed, as per my information. I am going to complete my first year soon. As of now, we do not have any knowledge about it. I do not have knowledge about packages offered to students. Many students get internships, but I do not specifically know about the companies. Internships are generally provided after 1st year, so I still have time to learn. Financial analyst, tax consultant, and auditor are some roles offered in my college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are something to be proud of. Though it is a government college, it still has all facilities like indoor sports, outdoor sports, a proper canteen, libraries, computer labs, Wi-Fi, etc. Compared to other government colleges, it is pretty pleasing. It is still not comparable to autonomous colleges.
Faculty: The teaching quality is quite average. As B.Com (Hons) has recently become a 4-year course, it still has quite credibility in the market. Other courses like B.Sc. in Economics and B.A. in Hindi, Bengali, and English are some good courses. The difficulty level of exams is good. It is suitable for most students, and it is a little hard to bring optimum marks as the teachers are quite picky about it.

B.Com (Hons) in Accountancy - Batch of 2026
Offered by Surendranath Evening College

3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good college compared to other colleges in Sealdah.
Placements: I'm from the 2023-2026 batch, pursuing a B.Com at my college. Around 40%-50% students got placed from our course, not too high but okay for an average college. The highest package is around 6 LPA, the lowest is like 1.8 LPA, and the average stays near 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, and some local firms came for placements. For internships, maybe 60% students got it. Some do through college, and some on their own, such as companies like National Vocational Academy of India.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Surendranath Evening College is average. Classrooms are basic, the library is decent with limited books, and there's no proper Wi-Fi or lab setup for general courses. Hostel facilities are okay, but not very clean or modern. The food in the canteen is average and sometimes repetitive. Medical help is minimal, sports, and games facilities are almost negligible.
Faculty: Faculty at Surendranath Evening College are helpful and qualified, though teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. The curriculum is more theory-based and not fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately tough, and around 40%-50% of students manage to pass.
Other: From the 2023 B.Com batch. I chose this course because it's simple and safe. College has a basic crowd, no real fests or activities, and could use more practical classes.

Overview of Bangabasi morning college.
Placements: As I know, in graduation courses, there are no placements as such. No companies are coming to this college; placements are really poor. So, if no companies are coming, then no offers are available in this college. You can still go for this college if you want to.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi on the campus, and lab facilities are also good. Classrooms are good, having projectors in class for smart classes, and library facilities are also nice. You can easily access all books. Hostel facilities are average here, and the canteen is nice and has affordable prices. Food quality is also good here. Sports and indoor games competitions are also available here.
Faculty: Teachers and professors are good here and very helpful and knowledgeable. They will help you. Exams are not so easy; you have to study to pass. The passing percentage is above 30%. Yes, in this course, curricular activities are also very important.
Other: I chose this course because I belong to a commerce background, and I wanted to do graduation in B.Com honors. I think for the betterment of this course, they should add more practicals and internships for more practical knowledge. In this college, every year, fests and activities happen. A scholarship exam is there if you want it, and the campus is not too big.
