CUG BA Eligibility & Selection Criteria 2025
Central University of Gujarat BA is offered as an honors degree that lasts for three years. The BA course is offered in only two language specialisation i.e., Chinese and German Studies. The undergraduate course is also available as an integrated MA+BA in Social Management course lasting for five years. The core courses provide students with a foundation in the major subject area. Central University of Gujarat course admission is open for the academic year 2025.
Central University of Gujarat BA admission is entirely based on the national-level exam CUET-UG conducted by NTA. Candidates applying on the official website of CUG will be redirected to CUET's official website. However, candidates must first qualify for the BA eligibility criteria which are as follows:
Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
CUG fees (tuition fee) are around INR 3,000* per semester. The fees might include other multiple components such as library fees, medical fees, enrollment fees, etc. The fees must be paid once candidates are allotted seats via counselling conducted by the university. CUG BA Admission Dates 2025
Central University of Gujarat BA admission dates are out now. BA admission is conducted via the CUET entrance exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUET admit card. CUG BA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
Central University of Gujarat accepts CUET-UG scores for admission to its BA course. Candidates seeking admission to CUG must apply online on the NTA CUET official website to register themselves. The CUG application begins once the CUET-UG results are announced. After the results counselling registration process begins. Candidates who have selected CUG as their preferred institute during the registration process can apply for CUG Counselling. Aspirants who have appeared for the CUET-UG exam, need to fulfill the below-mentioned conditions to apply for CUET-UG Counselling:
- The student who appeared in the CUET-UG with the subject (Section I A - Languages - English and Section III- General Test) is eligible for the counselling process.
- Candidate must have the minimum eligibility for admission to the programme. Please note that it is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure eligibility at the counselling stage. The admission of a candidate shall stand canceled if the eligibility claimed by him/ her is found to be incorrect during or after the admission process.

Step 1: Register on the CUG Admission Portal
Candidates need to visit the official website of the university (https://www.cug.ac.in/) to participate in the online counselling process. Candidates need to enter the below-mentioned details to register for CUET-UG Counselling:
- Applicant's CUET application number
- Applicants date of birth as per CUET application form
Step 2: Login, Upload of Documents & Registration Fee
Aspirants must log in with a CUET application number and password to fill out the counselling registration form. Candidates need to pay a registration fee of INR 250 for CUET-UG Counselling and upload the specified documents.
Step 3: Release of Merit List
After the last date of registration, the university will declare the list of provisionally eligible candidates and the first merit list on the university website. The selected candidate in the merit list can secure his/ her admission to the BA course after depositing the programme fees within the given time. If a candidate fails to pay the fee within the scheduled time limit, his/ her seat will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list or next merit list.
