Central University of Punjab Admission Process 2025
CUPB offers postgraduate courses in a full-time mode in streams such as Arts, Management, Commerce, Science, Law and many more. For all PG programmes, candidates need to clear CUCET which is followed by a counselling process. CUPB admission to all the programmes is solely done on the basis of merit obtained in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET), followed by counselling. The application process is only online, and no candidature is considered without a valid score in the entrance examination. Candidates need to register and check the CUET website for regular updates. At the time of admission, all candidates need to submit a medical fitness certificate to certify that they are fit to pursue higher studies.

CUPB Admission Process 2025
Central University of Punjab (CUPB) is a full-time postgraduate university that provides postgraduate courses in various streams like Arts, Management, Commerce and Science and many more. All PG programmes are entrance based through CUET and then a counselling process. Application is entirely online, and only applicants with a valid CUET score will be considered. Students should also provide a medical fitness certificate at the time of admission to ensure they qualify to undertake higher studies.
Step 1: CUPB Application Process 2025
Applications should be made online via the CUET site. They are required to complete the application form and attach the documents required as well as pay the application fee. The CUET portal provides regular updates and notifications about the entrance exam, which a candidate should check regularly.
Step 2: Entrance Exam (CUET)
All PG programmes at CUPB are admitted based on the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET). This exam is required of all applicants in order to be eligible to take subsequent rounds of admission.
Step 3: Counselling and the Document Check
Those shortlisted are invited to counselling according to their CUET scores. Students during counselling need to submit all original documents so that they can be verified, such as the medical fitness certificate. After successful verification and payment of the admission fee, the final seat allotment is done.

There are two ways to get direct admission in Central University of Punjab for the academic session 2023-24:

The Central University of Punjab (CUP) requires a minimum score of 239 for general category students to be admitted to MBA programs in 2023. For other MBA programs, students should check the official CUP website. The overall CUET-PG cutoff for 2023 is 87–245 marks.
The cutoff for PG courses like MA Political Science, MA Psychology, MBA Agribusiness, and MA International Relations and Political Science ranges from 270–230 to 280–240. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Commerce with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. For SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD, the minimum is 50%. Candidates must also appear for the CUCET entrance exam for the academic year.

The Central University of Punjab (CUP) accepts the CUCET entrance test scores for admission to its MBA program. The university also accepts CUET-PG scores for admission to its MBA and PGDM programs.
The university admits students to its MBA programme once a year. Admission is based on the CUCET entrance test results, followed by CUP counseling. The university offers only Masters and PhD programs. Admission to most of its PG courses is based on the CUCET entrance exam.
