The Central University of Punjab accepts CUET PG scores, followed by a counselling process for admisison to MA, MSc, MCom, MTech and LLM, among other PG courses. Central University of Punjab CUET PG cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, 2, 3 and 4 for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories. As per the CUPB cutoff 2024 for CUET PG, the cutoff scores ranged between 15 and 241, among which M.A. in Psychology was the most competitive PG course. You cannot join the Central University of Punjab without appearing for the central university's common test CUET for PG course.  The eligibility criteria for PG courses at the Central University of Punjab require a valid score on CUET PG and graduation with merit. The admission process for PG courses is based on CUET followed by the couselling rounds. Candidates must make sure to have Bachelor's degree from a recignised board before applying for the exam. 

Yes, the Central University of Punjab does offer BTech in Computer Science & Engineering. The course has been launched from 2024 onwards. Admission to the course will be based on the CUET UG exam followed by the university-level entrance exam. Further, candidates must have the below-mentioned qualifications

Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio Technology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject, Computer Science, Information Technology,  Information Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, and Business Studies. Ca Obtained at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. 

M.Sc. students used to get an average package worth about INR 3.1 LPA in previous years. As for the highest package, it is approximately 10–11 LPA.

The university gets 70% to 90% placement rates annually. The Central University of Punjab also encourages its students to be independent.
