B.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering 

at Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer

There are a total of 80 seats in BTech programme of Central University of Rajasthan. Aspirants are offered seat in BTech based on their JEE Main score. In 2024, the closing rank for BTech was the highest at 49021 for Computer Science Engineering. However, the rank saw a drop when compared with 2023 cutoff. 

Central University of Rajasthan will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

The JEE Main score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course

In the JEE-Main Cutoff 2023 for BTech courses at the Central University of Rajasthan, the minimum cutoff ranks for various disciplines are as follows: 

- For B.Tech Computer Science Engineering, the cutoff rank is 33,989.
- B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering has a cutoff rank of 45,159.
- B.Tech Biomedical Engineering has a minimum cutoff rank of 57,318.

These cutoff ranks represent the competitive scores required for admission to the respective BTech programs at the Central University of Rajasthan based on JEE-Main scores. Meeting or exceeding these cutoff ranks enhances the likelihood of securing admission to the desired BTech specialization.

According to the University, the total number of seats available for B.Tech courses is 90. 
The seat data for the academic year 2020-21 shows that there are 30 seats each for Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication, and Biomedical Engineering. 
The eligibility criteria for admission to these courses include passing XII/Intermediate with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry with a valid JEE (mains) score.

For the placement mostly the students like morethan 80%  got placed in the top companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and etc. with a decent salary upto 10 LPA .

The branch-wise average package offered is yet to be released. However, the overall Central University of Rajasthan average package offered to the students during the 2025 placement drive stood at INR 5 LPA. Central University of Rajasthan JEE Main cutoff 2025 is expected to release up to six rounds. Wherein, CSE stood the most demaned course among the candidates.
