CUCET 2024 exam dates for Phase 1 have been revised. The authorities will now conduct CUCET 2024 Phase 1 from October 20, 2023, to June 21, 2024. Previously, the last CUCET exam date was June 11, 2024. The CUCET 2024 application form last date for Phase 1 has also been extended until June 20, 2024. Candidates can access the CUCET 2024 application form in both online and offline mode. CUCET 2024 Phase 1 is being held as an online remote-proctored test. Candidates will be required to follow the CUCET 2024 rules and regulations and should have a laptop, web camera and a stable internet connection. Q:   When will CUCET 2024 application form be available?

A:

CUCET 2024 application form for Phase 1 is now available. Candidates can now access and fill out the application form of CUCET 2024 online at cucet.cuchd.in until June 20 (Phase 1). Offline application forms are also available at the University admission officies/authorized centres. To participate in the entrance exam and admission process, all candidates will have to fill out and submit the CUCET application form 2024 before the final date. CUCET 2024 Application Form

Candidates can now access the CUCET 2024 application form for Phase 1 until June 20, 2024. While filling out the application form of CUCET 2024, the candidates will be required to provide valid personal, academic and contact details. All of the submitted details have to be valid and as per the candidates' documents. The candidates will also have to pay INR 1,000 as the application fee for CUCET 2024. For the offline CUCET 2024 application form, the candidates will be able to purchase the form from University admission offices/ authorized centres by paying the application fee. Separate application forms will be released for Phase 2 of CUCET 2024.

CUCET Chandigarh University 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for admission to Chandigarh University are required to fulfil all the eligibility conditions before filling CUCET application form. The prescribed eligibility for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses are as follows:

Eligibility for UG courses:

  • Candidates must have secured 50 per cent or more marks in their secondary Education (10+2) from a recognized Board (CBSE/PSEB/ICSE or any other recognized State/National Board).
  • Students appearing for secondary education (10+2) in 2024 are also eligible to apply for the CUCET.

Eligibility for PG courses:

  • Students looking for admission to postgraduate (PG) courses are required to have scored 50 per cent or more marks in their graduation.
  • Candidates must have passed their graduation from the UGC recognised University.

Q:   What are the steps to fill out the online CUCET application form?

A:

CUCET application form is available online at cucet.cuchd.in. Candidates will have to fill out and submit the application form of CUCET online before the final date to participate in the entrance exam and admission process. After clicking on the registration link on the official website, the candidates will have to provide their basic details such as their name, contact number, email ID and date of birth. A password also has to be created for future log in. Next, the application form of CUCET has to be filled out with the required personal, academic and contact details. Finally, the application fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. 

 

Q:   What is the CUCET application fee?

A:

While filling out the CUCET application form, the candidates will be required to pay the application fee of INR 1000. The fee can be paid in both online and offline mode. For the online payment, the candidates will have to pay through net banking/credit card/debit card. However, if the candidates wish to pay the fee offline, then they will have to report to the University admission office/authorized centres to make the payment and access the offline application form. If the candidates are unable to make the payment, then they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

 

Q:   Will CUCET application form be available offline?

A:

Yes. Candidates will be able to access the CUCET application form offline. To purchase the offline application form of CUCET, the candidates will have to report to the University admission offices/authorized centres. CUCET 2024 Scholarships

CU has allocated INR 170 crore for the academic year 2023-24. Upto 100% scholarships will be offered for students to study futuristic courses of their choice at North India’s central educational hub. The amount of scholarship is determined based on merit. The merit list is prepared on the varsity basis of marks scored by candidates in CUCET (60% weightage) as well as the graduation/ Class XII (40% weightage) exam. Q:   Does Chandigarh University offer scholarships to CUCET qualified students?

A:

From 10% upto 100% scholarships will be provided to eligible candidates who have qualified and secured a valid CUCET score. 

 

Q:   Will different scholarships be given to CUCET qualified candidates of different phases?

A:

Yes. The authorities will provide different scholarships to CUCET qualified candidates of different phases i.e., Phase 1 and 2. For every marks range, the percentage of scholarship will be different. Candidates are advised to check the details regarding the scholarships carefully. If they are eligible for the scholarship, the candidates can contact the authorities to know more details. According to the official website, the number of scholarships offered in each stream is subject to a maximum of 10% of total seats offered by the university in that stream (between streams the scholarship distribution may vary).
