UCEED Result 2025 Tie-Breaker

In case two or more candidates secure the same marks in the exam, a tie-break policy is used for awarding UCEED 2025 ranks to candidates, as mentioned below:

A higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part B.
If the criterion given in (1) does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A.
If criteria (1) and (2) do not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 1 of Part-A.
If there is a tie even after this, the candidates will be assigned the same rank.

Candidates must note that securing a rank in the UCEED exam does not guarantee admission to the BDes course. Aspirants who make it to the UCEED merit list need to participate in a joint seat allocation process/counseling.
