UCEED Result 2024 - IIT Bombay will declare the results for the UCEED 2024 exam on March 8, 2024. The results will be declared online at uceed.iitb.ac.in.

The scorecard for UCEED 2024 will be available for download from March 11 to June 12, 2024. The scorecard will be issued to all candidates who appear in the UCEED 2024 exam. Note that IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2024 exam on January 21, 2024.

The validity of the UCEED 2024 scorecard will be one year from the date of its issue.

How to Check UCEED Result 2024
The results for UCEED 2024 will be released for all candidates who appear in the exam.
The candidate needs to follow the steps given below to check UCEED results.

UCEED Result 2024 Tie-Breaker
In case, two or more candidates secure the same marks in the exam, a tie-break policy is used for awarding UCEED ranks to candidates as mentioned below:
- A higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part B.
- If the criterion given in (1) does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A.
- If criteria (1) and (2) do not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 1 of Part-A.
- If there is a tie even after this, the candidates will be assigned the same rank.
Candidates must note that securing a rank in the UCEED exam does not guarantee admission in the BDes course. Aspirants who make it to the UCEED merit list need to thereafter participate in joint seat allocation process/counseling.

UCEED 2024 result and scorecard contained the following information:
- Name
- Roll number
- Part A marks will be displayed for all candidates
- Part B, Total Score, and Merit Rank (s) will be displayed only for candidates who have qualified UCEED 2023 exam.
- Category-wise qualifying marks
Note: The Part-B answer booklet will not be evaluated unless the candidate has been shortlisted. To get shortlisted, the candidate needs to secure the minimum prescribed marks in UCEED 2024 Part A.

UCEED rank list is prepared on the basis of total marks secured by candidates in the exam.
It may be noted that only candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each section of the exam and minimum total marks will be included in the UCEED 2023 rank list. Key points about UCEED 2024 Scorecard
- The scorecard of UCEED 2024 will include the Part A marks for all candidates.
- The Part B answer sheet will be evaluated only if the candidate meets the Part A cut-off and is shortlisted. Consequently, the scorecard will not include Part B marks for candidates who fail to qualify Part A
- Further, UCEED 2024 marks and merit ranks will be released only for shortlisted candidates.

What after the UCEED 2024 Result?
After the UCEED result 2024 is declared, candidates have to take part in the counseling process. The UCEED 2024 counseling application form for admission to B.Des courses was open till March 31. Candidates who qualify UCEED 2024 exam need to get registered and enter their choice of institutes in the order of priority.
The seat allotment was conducted in three rounds. To make seat allotments, the committee will consider:
- The UCEED 2024 merit rank of the candidate
- The institute selected at the time of choice filling and their order of priority
UCEED Admission Lists 2024
After the seat allotment process is over, UCEED admission lists will be released containing the names of candidates who have been offered seats for admission in the colleges accepting UCEED ranks/scores. IIT Bombay is known to release three admission lists and around four supplementary admission lists, every year.

To participate in UCEED 2024 counseling, the candidate nees to meet the following conditions:
Age limit - The candidate must be born on or after October 1, 1999
UCEED 2024 qualification - The candidate must have qualifed in the UCEED 2024 exam.
Qualifying exam - The candidate must have passed all five subjects in 10+ 2 or an equivalent exam in 2023 or 2024. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2022 or earlier are NOT eligible.
Q: What is the UCEED 2024 seat-acceptance fee?
The UCEED 2024 seat-acceptance fee for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL candidate is INR 60,000. However, note that SC, ST, and PwD candidates only need to pay INR 15,000. The fee wiill have to paid within the schedule notified by IIT Bombay. If the candidate fails to make the payment within the given deadline, then the allotment will be cancelled.
