UCEED Answer Key 2026 - IIT Bombay released the final key of UCEED 2026 on January 28, 2026 on the UCEED website. No answer key is released for Part B. Candidates can use the keys to calculate probable scores and assess their chances of admission.
UCEED 2026 Final question paper was released alongside the UCEED Answer key. Candidate response sheet for Part A of UCEED 2026 could be downloaded until the declaration of the UCEED 2026 results and not thereafter.
UCEED Entrance Test 2026 was conducted on January 18, 2026.

How to Download UCEED Final Answer Key 2026 PDF?
UCEED Answer Key is released only for Part A. No Answer Key is released for Part B. UCI Committee takes the final decision regarding the answer keys after considering all the comments from the candidates and UCEED paper-setting team. This decision is final and will be binding on all the candidates. No credentials are required to download the PDF of UCEED Answer Key 2026.

Steps to View UCEED 2026 Answer Key Candidate Response Sheet
Draft answer key of UCEED 2026 Exam was released on January 19, 2026. Candidates were able to submit objections against the UCEED 2026 draft answer key after the release of the answer key. Objections had to be submitted online at UCEED portal. To upload comments/queries, use the Master Question Paper uploaded at - uceed.iitb.ac.in. The order of questions is different for different paper codes.
Apart from downloading the answer key, candidates can also download the UCEED question paper and UCEED answer sheet from the official exam website. To view and download answer sheets for the UCEED exam, aspirants must log on to UCEED’s website using their registered email ID and password.

How to Raise Objections Against the UCEED 2026 Exam Answer Key
If the candidate feels that a Key (s) is wrong, then he or she can file an objection through the candidate portal.
The process of raising objections against the UCEED 2026 draft answer key is given below.
- Log in to the candidate portal
- Select the question number as mentioned in the uploaded UCEED 2026 question paper.
- Provide justification for raising an objection. Aspirants must provide complete solutions with diagrams if they feel any answer is incorrectly marked in the UCEED draft answer key. Along with that, candidates need to mention the alternate answer.
- All comments on the UCEED draft answer key must be compiled in a single email.
- UCEED exam office will not respond to individual emails sent by candidates. However, all emails will be read carefully, and issues will be checked thoroughly.
How to Calculate UCEED Exam Marks?
The Part A UCEED question paper will include THREE types of questions.
- Section 1: Numerical Answer Type (NAT): There will be 14 questions of 4 marks each. There will be no negative marking in this. Calculate how many are correct and then multiply by 4.
- Section 2: Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) - There are 15 questions. Each MSQ may have one or more than one correct choice(s) out of the four given. The following is the marking scheme:
- Full Marks: + 4 If only (all) the correct option(s) is (are) chosen and NONE of the incorrect options are chosen.
- Partial Marks: + 3 If all four options are correct but ONLY three options are chosen and NONE of the incorrect options are chosen.
- Partial Marks: + 2 If three or more options are correct but ONLY two options are chosen, both of which are correct, and NONE of the incorrect options are chosen.
- Partial Marks: + 1 If two or more options are correct but ONLY one option is chosen and it is a correct option and NONE of the incorrect options are chosen.
- Zero Marks: 0 If none of the options is chosen (i.e., the question is unanswered).
- Negative Marks: -1 In all other cases.
- Section 3: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) - There are 28 questions. 3 marks each for the correct answer; 0.71 negative marks for incorrect answers. Each MCQ will have four choices, out of which only one is the correct answer.
UCEED Marks vs UCEED Rank
The difference between UCEED Marks and UCEED Rank is that Marks refer to the raw numerical value obtained by a candidate in each part of the exam (Part A and Part B) and UCEED Rank is the position of the candidate in the national merit list based on the final score.
In other words, we can say that
- Marks = What you got in UCEED paper
- Rank = What is your position

UCEED Cutoff 2026
UCEED Cutoff will be announced on February 05, 2026 for all the candidates who have appeared for UCEED entrance Exam on January 18, 2026. Admission to B.Des programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur will be based on this cutoff.

UCEED Answer Key 2026 - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The UCEED question paper will be of 3 hours and include two parts - The computer-based Part A and the offline-based Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the paper.
Also, Part B paper answer booklets will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies Part A. IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A before the declaration of results.
Part A will include the following types of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Multiple Select Question (MSQ) Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). Part A will now include 57 questions.
Meanwhile, Part B will include 2 questions; this includes a sketching-based and an aptitide-based question.
Here are a few reasons why the UCEED answer key is important:
- By viewing UCEED answer key and question paper, aspirants can determine their score in the design entrance exam.
- The answer key brings credebility to the examination process
- Since the candidate is also given the option to challenge an answer key, wrong scoring will be elimiated to a large extent.
The counseling process for UCEED 2026 will be conducted by IIT Bombay as a Joint Seat Allocation process.
To participate in UCEED 2026 counseling, the candidate must have qualfied in the UCEED 2026 entrance exam and been allocated a merit rank.
This means, if the candidate has failed to qualify Part A exam, he or she will not be allocated a merit rank, and therefore are not eligible to take part in the counseling process.
Draft answer key for UCEED 2026 was released on January 19, 2026. It is only released for Part A of the exam. No answer keys will be released for UCEED Part B.
To download draft answer key, candidates need to go to the admission portal and click the draft answer link. No login is required to download the answer key.
UCEED 2027 Application will open from October 01, 2026, on the official website. Last date to apply with regular fees will be in November. Candidates who met the prescribed eligibility criteria were able to apply for admission.
UCEED 2026 question paper will have two parts: 1. computer-based Part A and 2. Drawing and aptitude based Part B.
Some of topics to prepare for UCEED are given below.
- Visualization and spatial reasoning: Ability to visualise and transform 2D shapes and 3D objects and their spatial relationships.
- Practical and scientific knowledge: Know-how of scientific principles and everyday objects.
- Observation and design sensitivity: Capacity to detect concealed properties in day-to-day life and think critically about them. Attention to details, classification, analysis, inference and prediction.
- Environment and society: General awareness of environmental, social and cultural connections with design.
- Analytical and logical reasoning: Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information.
- Language: Proficiency in reading and comprehending Standard English .
- Creativity: Grasp of verbal and non-verbal analogies, metaphors, signs and symbols.
If you are appearing in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2026 you must ensure the following:
- (a) all parts of their final examination are completed by the date of application for admission, and
- (b) submit proof of having passed the qualifying examination with required eligibility by September 30, 2026 to the admitting institute.
The counseling for UCEED 2026 will be conducted online as a Joint Seat Allocation process. The counseling will be conducted in a centralized manner.
To be considered for seat allocation, foreign national candidates must meet all the eligibility requirements.
