All the facilities provided are very good and the staff is also well qualified.

Placements: Minimum 60 percentage marks are required for the students to sit in campus placements. The highest package is 8.5 LPA, lowest was 3 LPA and average was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Ambuja and GSW. Top role is site engineer.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available in our college like civil labs, classrooms, smart classes, library, civil equipments and much more. The hostels are very clean and the infrastructure is also built beautifully. Mess is also good. Whole environment is clean and green.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and their teaching skills are very good. The courses are on point. They are relevant according to our courses. The exams are quite difficult. This helps to increase our capability. The minimum percentage required is 40 percent.

This university is average, needs a lot of improvement in terms of teaching and quality students.

Placements: Almost 20% of students were placed. The highest salary pacakge offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered was 1.5 LPA. Afcons, L&T, Everest, TCS, Sobha Developers, Era Infra, KET, etc., were top recruiting companies. Students had to take internships on their own. Students studying civil engineering were placed in different companies. However many students went preparing for government exams.

Infrastructure: In this college, laboratories were good. Wi-Fi was also available. Library was good. Food was average. Sports facilities were available. Medical and first aid were also available, rest students had to pay for outside treatment. Only simple medicines were available like paracetamol, disprin, etc. Canteens were good although local food was available.

Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable but teaching quality was average. The curriculum was relevant. Students were made industry-ready. Exams were average in this college. Pass percentage was 80%. Teachers were mainly from local colleges, and some were industry experts.

Other: I opted for this course, because of the demand for civil engineering in the government sector. Teachers and teaching quality need to be improved. Events are average. Scholarships can also be increased to make the course better.

Review of Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh.

Placements: About 70% of the students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA during my tenure. Many companies recruit students from here. Site engineer, sales trainee, project engineer and many such roles are offered by companies. Many companies visit the campus for internship programs.

Infrastructure: Everything is good here as expected in a college. The food served in the mess is quite good compared to the food served in the mess of other colleges. Refreshment options are quite better than others. Classrooms and library are completely air-conditioned with a good sitting capacity. Overall, the campus is lush green.

Faculty: Teachers here are experienced, and some guest faculty members visit here to teach us many advanced subjects. Many practice classes are conducted to make students prepare for the industry. The semester exams are totally knowledge-based, and students should have complete knowledge of the subject.

Other: Many events are organised throughout the year on different occasions.

Placements: The college has an excellent placement record with mass recruitment for all courses. Every company visits every day for placement session. The college ensures that many students get placed. Many sessions are conducted before placements so that the college ensures we are industry-ready.

Infrastructure: The college has a perfect infrastructure which has all the important things. There are clean classrooms and washrooms. The college has a hygienic mess for hostellers and day scholars, and also a cafeteria and juice corner are available. The library is really good. The most important thing is the college has fire extinguishers in every place.

Faculty: The college has excellent faculty members, and they have good knowledge. They provide daily assignments and conducts quiz regularly. They have good interaction with students. Young faculty has a good connection with students. The course curriculum was also excellent with practical experience and site visits.

The college has good infrastructure, but it is a small campus.

Placements: Placements were average. 1/4 of the students got placed. Few core companies visited the campus, and most of the companies were related to IT sector. In the core branch, i. e. civil, only 10% of the student got placed. Placement cell is good. They are trying their best, but the efficiency is low.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Labs are provided with Wi-Fi in which different kinds of software can be learned. Food quality is average as every other engineering colleges. Hostel rooms are average. Medical facilities are poor, and no proper hospital is available near the campus. Different types of sports can be played on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, but there are always exceptions. They are qualified and knowledgeable to some extent, but their efficiency in transferring the knowledge to the students is 50%. Teaching methods are old fashioned and very poor, which needs to be changed not only in our college but throughout the country.

Other: Many events and fests are conducted on the campus. Connectivity is not so good.

Not satisfied with this campus, can't get enough knowledge, experience, placements or anything.

Placements: The placements are not as good as expected. Only a few companies come to this college for the civil engineering course, rest for CSE, and the placements are pretty well. You have to depend on your own for placements if you are going to opt this college for civil engineering.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very well. The classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and A/Cs. The buildings are also good. The college has a small campus and a pretty one, you can have a view of mountains right through it. The infrastructure is good, it is a clean and tidy campus as it has got the most cleanest university award from Swacchta Abhiyan.

Faculty: The course like civil engineering lacks the faculty, but the management gets the faculty from outside like for 2 days in a week type schedule. There is not a proper system of managing the syllabus. Some teachers are not even that good, so please take care when you take admission and reconsider.

Other: The fee is very high according to the course provided.

Chitkara University - a complete home of excellence in North India.

Placements: As they say, the placements at Chitkara is the best in North India, so they mean. Despite being placed in my core companies, I choose to be a part of Amazon, which has turned my path. Being selected into non-core companies, as told by everyone, is not going to be helpful in my future. But, it can be seen now that I have completed a year and a half, in Amazon and also bagged the lead's position. This is all because of Chitkar's slogan of "explore the potential."

Infrastructure: A very good infrastructure awaits you at the campus, as it is located in the mountains. The facilities on the campus don't resist you to do your studies and other activities. Here, there are the best in class professors with awesome classrooms. Moreover, the students here are very friendly.

Faculty: I enjoyed my Civil Engineering here. The faculty here was very friendly to approach whenever I wanted their help. I also have learned the subject and moreover learned how to be a better employee in any organisation. This is all because of my faculty. They are the best in their profession, and the faculty await your arrival in your respective courses. They share with you their work experience all these years which they have earned from their respective jobs, be it from being a retired army officer or a retired government officer. Everyone here shares their experience with you to make you the best human being for the future.

Other: Apart from the studies, you get to explore your real potential by taking part in various events here in the cultural fest of the university. If you are not good with any extra curriculum activity, then don't worry if you can be a part of any core team just to enjoy playing your responsibility during the fests.

One must take the admission in Chitkara.

Placements: In this college, 20% of the students in civil are placed previously. To increase the placements, various steps are being taken. It is a good deal to get admission in Chitkara University as the faculty and our honourable Dr Ashok k Chitkara is doing a lot for us. The placement till now is not very good for the civil batches, but now it is a good chance.

Infrastructure: Its a small, sweet campus, and is very neat and clean. Many labs for civil are been build, and many new things are being made. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, but the speed is slow. Sports and games facilities are many for the students. Various tournaments take place every year. The quality of the labs is 85, on a scale of 100.

Faculty: The faculty of the civil department are understandable. They provide the best teaching and also provide notes which are helpful. The student to faculty ratio is 100:8, which is a good ratio. Further students are divided into different sections. Problems can be solved by talking to teachers as said before they are understandable. Mentors are provided to solve the problems.

Other: One problem in the college is the dress code, which seems to be like school life.
