Friendly environment and supportive teachers.

Placements: From the second last semester students are eligible for campus placements. TCS, Cognizant, Deutsche Bank, Indian Cost Guard Zifo, Hindustan, RDC Concrete, Pinakel, Sasken Technologies Company Limited, Mindtree, Infosys, etc. The highest package is 50 LPA.

Infrastructure: There are 6 girls hostels and 9 boys hostels as of now but 2 are under construction. The food provided there is excellent, especially for the Alakananda hostel. The quality is amazing. The hostel fee is Rs. 500 per month excluding food and the monthly rate of food comes to around Rs. 2500 per month, it is varying. This is the case of university hostel. There is a caution fee upon admission to the hostel which is Rs. 1000 and an admission fee of Rs. 1350 for the hostel separately. The admission procedure is simple you have to apply online while joining.

Faculty: I have always been interested in the science field, rocket technology, and space science, hence I chose this course to learn the mathematical foundation of all the above-mentioned sciences. The course plays an amazing theoretical base for core science and mathematics. The teachers can improve and take a practical approach to teaching. The exams are held after every 4-5 months. Exams are quite difficult to get by without good preparation.

The infrastructure and lab facility is also good.

Placements: So many companies come to campus, including TCS, Deloitte, HCL, and the Aditya Birla group. They offer a variety of positions, with salaries ranging from an average of 5 lakhs to a high of 15 lakhs. The placement rate for human resources is 50%, which is higher than the average of 70% for finance and 95% for marketing.

Infrastructure: The overall college experience at CUSAT is awesome. The college provides a lot of opportunities for students to explore their interests. There are many clubs and organizations on campus, including SEDS and TedX. CUSAT also has an annual arts and sports festival. The college provides a gym, cafeterias, and a library with a wide variety of study materials. The library is very helpful.

Faculty: The faculty members to student ratio is 15:1. The faculty members are approachable, but we have to build the interactive relationship with the professors ourself. Each faculty member is good at teaching their subject and providing knowledge. There are three internals (20+20+20) and the best two of the three count. After that, there is an end-semester exam of 60 marks each semester. We have to complete at least one internship to be eligible for placement programs.

Review of Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi.

Placements: This institute has good placement records. 2nd-year students are eligible for placements. Companies like Infosys, UST Global, EY, etc., visit the college for placements. Also, this institute gives plenty of internship opportunities. The final semester in all M.Sc. courses is exclusively for internships. Placements are not very high, but not very low either. If we are witty and driven about the subject, then we get a good chance of landing a job. In the 2nd semester of the first year, we make a project on Stereography. We get mark assessments based on that project.

Infrastructure: The hostel is compulsory for this course as it is a residential course. The hostel is good and all facilities are available. There is enough space for studies and entertainment. Rules in hostels are strict, and the wardens are bad.

Faculty: Our college has highly qualified faculty members. They give their best. All teachers are good. In the final semesters, we get to attend the classes from HOD as well, which gives you an eye experience into the engineering field. Being a government college, it is showing the standard in terms of professors. There are semester exams. M.Sc is a 2-year program, and exams are held. I passed with good marks in every term. There is also an in-house exam with 40 marks for assessment, and a class test with 10 marks. We get 70 marks main paper. The course curriculum is quite up to date. Various mathematical methods being taught in the class are up to the mark. However, incorporating the use of technology can be highly beneficial because it can make things more streamlined and efficient.

Great placement with world-class facilities.

Placements: Placement for students was eligible from third year. About 60% of the students were offered placements. The entire selection process was based on how they were interviewed. Last year, students could participate in the admissions process. Top recruitment agencies visited our campus. The salary package offered ranged from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. I wanted to work in the government, so I was studying for the PSC exams.

Infrastructure: All hostels in our college were good. Our university had good services. Each room had three beds, a desk, and a ceiling fan. Food in the hostel was good. There were no special dishes, but the food was very delicious and hygienic. The registration process was simple. Priority was given to hostel accommodation for students from remote areas. Hostel cost, including meals is Rs. 2300 per month.

Faculty: Faculty members were very friendly and talented. They know how to teach and have extensive experience helping students succeed. Course curriculum a bit more complex as it covers all the core subjects, so it is more challenging. Semester exams were easy and pass rate was around 70%.

The hostel facilities are excellent.

Placements: Students were eligible for placements in their third year. Almost 60% of students were placed. The selection was completely based on the presence of mind during the interview. In the previous year, students could participate in the placement selection process. Top recruiting companies visited our campus. The salary package offered was 3 LPA to 4 LPA. I wanted to work for the government, so I studied for the PSC exams.

Infrastructure: In our college, hostel facilities were good. Our college had good infrastructure. In each room, there were three beds, a table, and a fan. The hostel food was good. A variety of foods were not available. The food was average. The registration process was simple. Students from distant places were given more priority for living in hostels. The hostel fee, including expenditure on food, was Rs. 2300.

Faculty: . All faculty members were excellent. They were always available for support and to clarify doubts. There were five faculty members among the 80 students. All faculty members completed their master's degrees and doctorate degrees. Semester exams are conducted every six months.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.
