Step 1: CUSAT MBA Application Process 2024
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply with an application fee of INR 1,100. There is a relaxation in application fee for Kerala SC/ ST candidates. They need to pay a fee of INR 500.
Step 2: Selection Rounds
Cochin University accepts management aptitude tests such as KMAT, CMAT, and IIM-CAT and CUSAT CAT for admission to MBA programme. Aspirants shortlisted based on the entrance exam score are further called for group discussion and personal interview rounds.
Step 3: Rank List
The final rank list for MBA is based on aptitude test, marks obtained in personal interview and group discussion rounds in the ratio of 70:15:15, respectively. The normalisation procedure of the scores in KMAT, C-MAT and IIM-CAT will be decided by the University/Admission
Committee.
Step 4: Admission Confirmation
After the release of the rank list, selected candidates must come for document verification. They need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.
CUSAT offers M.Tech in full-time and part-time modes. The full-time course is of two-year duration with four semesters and the M.Tech part-time course is of three years with six semesters. The PG-course is available in 16 specialisations. Admission to the M.Tech courses at Cochin University is entrance-based.

The CUSAT CAT Cutoff 2025 for admission to various UG and PG courses was released for all categories and rounds under the Home State and All India quota. As per the closing cutoff in the last round for the General AI students, the cutoff range fell between 7 and 4401, wherein Integrated LLM in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) + Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) was the most competitive course and B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, the easiest course for this category. The total tuition fee for BTech in CSE at CUSAT is INR 3.61 lakh. CUSAT CAT is used for BTech course admission. The primary requirements for admission to the BTech Computer Science programme are a Class 12 certificate and an overall percentage of 50% in PCM and 50% in Mathematics. While SEBC students from Kerala State (non-creamy layer category) are entitled toa 5% relaxation in qualifying exam scores, the Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) populations simply need pass marks.
