Amazing college with great infrastructure and teachers but above-average placements.
Placements: More than 50% of students get placed. The highest package offered so far is 35 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is around 8–9 LPA. Top recruiters include the Big 4 firms, Meesho, and MBB consulting companies. Barely 7–10% of students from the course get internships, mainly in Big 4 and MBB companies. The top roles offered are related to consulting and finance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good and has been updated with new Wi-Fi this year. Classrooms are always clean. The library has AC, and new washrooms have also been built. Hostel facilities are worth the money. The food available in the mess is better than what is offered in PGs.
Faculty: Teachers at SR are very knowledgeable and qualified. They know textbooks. The course curriculum is somewhat irrelevant because of SEC, VAC, and AEC classes, which seem unnecessary. However, the core subjects help students become industry-ready. Semester exams are manageable, neither too easy nor too difficult.

Faculty members are rude sometimes.
Placements: 10% or a few students get placed in the B.Com course. The highest package offered is 3.5 LPA. The lowest package offered is 2 LPA. Zomato is the top recruiting company, as far as I know, for my course. Otherwise, there are other companies as well, like Bank of America, etc., but I haven't seen any such company for my course. 30% of students get internships in random companies. Data entry roles are offered here.
Infrastructure: The department building and infrastructure are nice. Wi-Fi never works. Classrooms are okay, but there is no AC, so people consider labs because there is AC. The library is good. We don't have hostels. The canteen, medical, sports, and games facilities are nice.
Faculty: Teachers are really nice here. The course curriculum is not relevant, but it is okay for those who just want a graduation degree. Semester exams are easy. I have never seen someone getting an ER in exams if they attempt it. I don't think there is any total pass percentage kind of thing, as it depends on the subject. There is a passing mark criterion.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics - Batch of 2028
Offered by Ramjas College, University of Delhi
4.0
It has a good attendance policy, infrastructure, faculty, and courses. Dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: In this course, not many students get placements. They go to pursue master's from IITs or clear government exams. There are some placements. The average package offered is 4 LPA, but that is based on skills and not because of the course itself. The internship cell is quite active. We have many opportunities for summer internships. We can also work for DU this season, and it is exclusively for us. The pay is decent, roughly Rs. 12,000 per month, for 2 months of the admission period
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are amazing. Classrooms are very big. The only drawback is that they don't have AC. The new building was built recently, which is quite nice. It has a 6-storey building with lifts and Wi-Fi. There are washrooms on each floor. The college library is quite big, but we also have access to the DU central library, so it is a quite good college. The library is huge with AC and Wi-Fi. Labs are okay with good faculty. There are no hostels. They are available from this year as they are under renovation.
Faculty: This college is a heaven of DU. It has a relaxed attendance policy. Teachers are helpful and highly qualified. They have several research papers. Almost all professors are PhD holders and not even that old. Their teaching style is amazing. The new course curriculum for honors course is quite relevant for going into the research field and higher studies. The course curriculum is relevant and a little heavier than the old one. It makes one research-ready, and they can directly go for a PhD by passing the BSc course.

I would rate 9/10 for faculty, 8/10 for hostel, and 8/10 for infrastructure.
Placements: The placement cell of my college is not very good. We don't get many choices for placements or internships. B.Com (Hons) students get the opportunity to get placed, but not students in other courses. For internships or placements, we need to put in the effort.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is not great. From the library to the hostel, everything here is well-maintained, neat, and clean. The canteen needs a bit of improvement. However, it's affordable and nice. The medical room is convenient for students.
Faculty: Daulat Ram College offers so many courses. Professors are very supportive of students. They prioritise studies over other things, which is a plus point. The course curriculum is updated on portals every year. It's based on the new curriculum, which is beneficial for students. Staff members are nice.
Other: In terms of studies, we can prioritise this college. Extracurricular activities still need so much improvement in sports and further inter-college opportunities. I would rate 6 out of 10 for extracurricular activities.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics - Batch of 2028

Review of Miranda House for the physics department.
Placements: Placements do happen in Miranda, but mostly in maths and economics departments. The highest package offered this year is 24 LPA. In my department, mostly girls go abroad for further studies. Mostly, students get into research and not placements. Placements here are comparatively low because people here get into research and the UPSC. But once students get here, then we will definitely be something in our lives. I would suggest that if placement is students main aim, then they should be active here with e-cell. Top companies like Accenture, Deloitte, EY, and KPMG often participate in the recruitment process.
Infrastructure: The food in the mess might not be up to our taste as everyone misses their home sickness. The canteen is nice and affordable with fine taste. Some dishes are very delicious and are at a low price. The library would stun us. The basketball court and ground in front of the science block are nice. Medical facilities and counselling are available for everything. Girls who are sports enthusiasts can feel empowered every day. The infrastructure of the science block is very nice. It is newly constructed. Mirror, water facilities, and restrooms are also available. The science building is newly constructed and gives a technical feel. Labs and classrooms are fantastic. Some equipment in the lab is old, but overall labs are worth it.
Faculty: Everything here will make us fall in love with Miranda House, as it is the place where we will find comfort and peace. In physics department, professors are top-notch. Some might be annoying, but they have full knowledge of what they are teaching. The attendance is something that can make things difficult for us. We should maintain 67% attendance. End semester exams are conducted smoothly.
Other: Physics here can feel challenging at first because professors expect consistency, but if we attend classes regularly and stay connected with seniors, it becomes much more manageable. Labs are decent, and faculty members are knowledgeable. The crowd pushes us to grow intellectually. One thing I personally liked is how active societies and events are, and it never feels like life is only about assignments. Overall, Physics at Miranda House is rigorous but rewarding, especially if we enjoy the subject beyond just marks, so I chose it.

Good college overall. It could be better.
Placements: The Multimedia and Mass Communication department does not provide placement, but the professors are helpful and will provide you with contacts. You also have to do a mandatory internship during your summer break, which sets you up for good job prospects.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided by the college, and the Multimedia and Mass Communication department has a separate Wi-Fi as well. The MMMC lab, studio, and radio production room all have air conditioning. The canteen food is not the best, but Amul and Nescafé are both good.
Faculty: The professors have all worked in the industry at some point and are well qualified to teach their subject. They are all very helpful, be it in academics, personal life, or in finding job opportunities. The department gives you a chance to work with professional industry equipment and software.
Other: The college fest is not very good, so if you're looking for that, you'll be disappointed.
