    Strong placements are provided.
    Placements: Approximately 85% of students were placed. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Oil India, and ONGC are the top recruiters. 75% of students secured internships at companies like Reliance and HCL. No students got internships from our course, as our course does not provide internships.
    Infrastructure: It has all the requirements, a good university should have all the requirements, like a stadium, an auditorium, separate labs for different departments, etc. There are two well-equipped canteens, namely Josag and Jyoti, where most students eat breakfast to dinner.
    Faculty: The curriculum is very relevant to our curriculum and prepares students for all types of industries and all types of government jobs. Teachers are supportive and provide a great learning experience, and yes, it makes students industry-ready. Exams are moderately difficult.
    Other: This college is a good institution in the north-east corner of India with good research potential and the capacity to produce young scientists. Events like seminars, presentations, Fest, I.E., Freshers, the Annual Fest, the Inter-College Sports Meet, and the Alumni Meet are held throughout the year.

    Review of Dibrugarh University.
    Placements: The placement is very good. Many companies come to this college. The placement percentage is above 90% at this college. The highest package offered in our course was 3.6 lacs per year; the average package offered in our course was 2.4 lacs per year. 96% of students got internships from our course.
    Infrastructure: We have all the facilities at our college. The classrooms are big. The classrooms are cleaned every day. The library was big and it has a big reading room for the students. The lab facility is good. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good.
    Faculty: The teachers were helpful and qualified. The teaching quality was good. It makes the students ready. The semester exams are very good. The semester exams are not too hard but no cheating is allowed at this college. 98 percent of students pass the semester exams.

    Good faculty and infrastructure, but the syllabus must be improved.
    Placements: There was no placement in the last 2 years. OIL (Oil Indis Limited) is the recruiter. 100% internship is provided to students. The internship is mainly provided by OIL and ONGC. One summer and one winter internship. I got selected for the ONGC summer internship which will be carried out from July 2021.
    Infrastructure: The department of Applied Geology, Dibrugarh University provides the best lab facilities. There are labs are geophysical and geochemical studies also, Many microscopes including SEM. Moreover, we got a geological museum, rock cutting machine. Auditorium, library. I am boarder at Swarbalata Boruah Chatri Nivas. The hostel provides good infrastructures, food, and medical facilities. Many games, sports, and other curricular activities are carried out on regular basis or weekly.
    Faculty: The faulty of Applied geology is the best. They are very helpful and easily approachable. They mentor every student with equal effort and keep a constant boost in the students. They keep motivating us in every possible way. Speaking about the teaching quality, our teachers always provide us with updated and proper knowledge on every topic. Since we cannot rely upon campus placement. But the faculty makes sure we get enough information and knowledge to get through any industrial interview for which there is the class for group discussion too.
    Other: Geology is all about knowing your earth and nature which makes me curious to explore and know the surrounding. I think the syllabus should be revised. There is a campus fest.

    Placements: 1. 30% students were placed in our course. 2. The highest salary - 60K per month, the lowest salary - 20K per month. Average salary is 35K per month. 3. Top Recruiting companies for our course were- I) Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. ii) ICICI Bank iii) ONGC 4. Top Role offered in our course was - Astt. Manager. 5. The highest package - 7.2 L per annum, the lowest package - 2.4 L per annum. Average package - 4.5L per annum. 6. 80% of students got internship from our course in companies like Bandhan Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, IOC.
    Infrastructure: 1. Facilities and infrastructure i.e Classroom, Library, Wi-Fi, computer lab were available for our course. 2. Quality of facilities in our hostel were of average category. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen was not good enough. Medical facilities were satisfactory. Playground, well-equipped gym were available for sports and games.
    Faculty: 1. Yes, the teachers were very helpful, highly qualified and highly knowledgeable. Teaching quality was satisfactory. 2. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant but not up to the mark. Yes, it makes students ready for a professional job in today's job market.
    Other: 1. I choose this course because it helps to get jobs in different industries. Best things in this course is Scoring in this course is easier compared to others. 2. I wish more practicals than theory would be beneficial for students to get industry ready in the job market. 3. Event i.e Seminar, Presentation, Fest I. e Freshers, annual fest, Annual sports week, culture extravaganza, inter-college sports meet, Alumni meet are organized throughout the year. Merit cum scholarships / SC, ST Scholarships, economically weaker scholarships are available for the course.

    Good library, infrastructure & transportation facility.
    Placements: Most of the students from my senior batches are being employed as an assistant lecturer in contractual basis. A no. Of senior students have got their permanent placement too. Som e of the passed out students are doing their Ph.D. in various universities. There is no campus selection occurs in the department of Life sciences but it varies with departments. Departments of Engineering and Management provide the facility of campus selection & employment to the students. This university has a placement cell which organize these facilities with active co-operation of certain departments.
    Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the university is good. It has a huge library with a large no. Of books of different subjects. The library and the hostels are provided with free Wi-Fi facilities. Labs ars good and food available in the canteens are also good. Hostels are provided with necessary facilities. There was no infrastructure related issues that I face during my tenure at the university.
    Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and equally qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. CBCS system is followed. Student to faculty ratio is 6:1. Depending on departments students may get industry exposure or may not. The course curriculum is useful specially in cracking State Level Elligibility Test (SET) for lecturership.
    Other: A no. Of cultural events take place in this university throughout the year and is organized by various departments which provide great opportunities for students to enhance their talent. One of the best event, the university week is organized by the university student union in the even semester. Scholarship is provided to the final topper of every department every year.

    Review of the department of applied geology, Dibrugarh University.
    Placements: The campus placement record of this department is not so good. Oil India Limited, the oil giant hires one-two students every year. The department produces more students that have cleared NET, GATE and GSI examination. The students have a good record of off-campus placement.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good. Petrology lab and eng-geology labs are well equipped. We have a good collection of high-resolution microscope. We have XRD facility and other sophisticated centralised instrumentation for research. The department has a good collection of software like GIS, DIPS. The department also has a well-equipped geophysics laboratory. It conducts geophysical surveys like gravity, seismic, etc.
    Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified. It has more than 12 permanent faculty members along with many more contractual faculty members. The course curriculum is good, but not up to industrial level. The geophysical exploration syllabus of this department is too good and may compete with IITs and NITs.
    Other: This college is a good institute with good research potentials and capability of producing young scientists in the northeast corner of India.
