DIT University MBA scholarships provides concession in the tuition fee to candidates pursuing UG or PG courses. 26% scholarship on tuition fee shall be granted to permanent residents of Uttarakhand/ Other Himalayan States for whom 40% of seats are reserved in all PG courses. DIT University Scholarships are also offered based on Sports, financial assistance for siblings, etc.
NOTE: The scholarship amount cannot exceed past 100% of the tuition fee.

Yes, DIT University offers scholarship solely to girls called Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji Scholarship for girls students. This scholarship is applicable to UG programmes. Scholarship of 10% on tuition fee is applicable for Girl students in first year of UG programmes under to conditions:

In DIT University, Registration fee of INR 1,250 and Admission Fee of INR 10,000 fees once paid will not be refunded once the payment is done. All withdrawal applications will be processed by the Registrar Office of DIT University on recommendations of the Head, Admissions. Further, In case, the student reports to attend the Programme and subsequently applies for withdrawal, an additional amount of Rs 10,000/- on account of Joining Kit will be deducted over and above from the refundable amount as mentioned in the table provided above. The university conducts other selection rounds like GDPI or PI rounds for some of the specific courses. However, for PhD who have a valid score GATE / SET / SLET will be selected based on PI. Additionally, candidates who do not have any of the scores mentioned above need to sit and appear for merit-based counselling on DUET followed by PI.
Step 3: Counselling & Admission Confirmation
After the completion of the selection rounds, candidates are called for merit-based counselling and document verification. Selected candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their admission.
DIT University offers good and standard packages to students. As per the latest report, the participating recruiters offered over 1,450 job offers to the students of the batch 2024. The highest package offered at DIT Dehradun in 2024 stood at INR 58 LPA. Earlier, over 270 recruiters participated in the placement process 2023 at DIT University and presented over 1,270 job offers to the students of Class 2023. The highest package package offered during DIT University placements in 2023 was also INR 58 LPA.

MBA is a two-year course offered in four major specialisations. A minimum of 50% aggregate through Class 10, Class 12 and graduation is required to apply for the MBA course. Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility requirements and submit their proof of eligibility during the document verification round. Any candidate found ineligible during the verification process, will not be given admission.
As per the latest research on external sources, we have found that DIT Deradun alumni are placed in top national and multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, EY, KPMG, etc. They work in various sectors such as Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Sales and more. Of all the sectors, 37% of alumni work in the Engineering sector. Additionally, 15% and 12% of alumni work in the IT and Business Development sectors. DIT University has released the mean package for the year 2024. The overall mean package in 2024 was 5.76 LPA. Also, the mean package recorded during SOET, SOC, School of Management and School of Pharmacy was 4.2 LPA, 6.26 LPA, 4.5 LPA and 3.2 LPA.
