The eligibility criteria for the M.Sc. Course at GITAM Institute of Science, Visakhapatnam admissions is that the student should have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the concerned discipline from any recognised university. Moreover, the duration of the course is for two years. The entrance exam accepted for GITAM Institute of Science, Visakhapatnam M.Sc. Course is GITAM GAT (PGT) which is followed by group discussion and Personal Interview.

More than 90% of students get internship opportunities, and top companies like Apollo, Max Healthcare, and Care Hospital visit the campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities of our university are really good, like Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are well-organized, and libraries are also available with a strong Wi-Fi connection. Food quality in the mess is awesome compared to various other private universities, but here you get only vegetarian food.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and supportive. They teach from scratch and help you when needed. They are knowledgeable regarding the subjects. The course curriculum is highly relevant to industry requirements, and they teach industry-required technology stacks. The semester is not easy, but not too hard. The hostel also has the best facilities, hygienic maintenance, and homely-feel food with very hygienic maintenance.

Faculty: All teachers are professionally intelligent. Faculty members have good communication skills with every student and clarify any doubts we raise about studies or other career suggestions. The course is relevant to our stream, and it is tricky to get good marks in exams.

Other: My course is Microbiology, which studies about microorganisms. It includes microbial physiology and food microbiology, and it is very helpful for research labs. The fest events are really good.
