Yes, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology offers lateral entry to BTech course. Candidates shortlisted are offered direct admission to the second year of the BTech degree. Yes, GJUST is a good university as it is ranked 49 under the Pharmacy category by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2023. Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology also provides various distance education programmes to students that are approved by the Distance Education Bureau, UGC, New Delhi. • For admission to BE/ BTech (Bio-Technology), a candidate should be a pass in Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science.
• A candidate who is passed in Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised institute/ university.
• Candidates should have obtained 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidates).

A course-wise placements report has not been released by the authorities. In the 2023 placements as per an overall report, a total of 77 companies took part and selected 330 students. The highest package offered during the placements stood at 14.75 LPA. Some of the top companies that participated in the placements drive were IBM, Nagarro, Haldiram's, Amazon, etc.
