It is an amazing college with amazing faculty members and students.
Placements: Around 75% to 80% of the students get placed from our college. Mostly, academically top students are given preference in placements. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Taj, Marriott and Grand Hyatt are the top recruiting companies for this course. Almost all students got internships from our course, or there are 100% chances for internships. Students got placed for internships in Grant Hyatt, Fortune, Vivanta By Taj, Hilton, W Hotels and Marriott. Top roles offered in this course are waiter, chef, bartender, manager and HR. If you join in the company, you will surely grow.
Infrastructure: This department offers amazing facilities and infrastructure like they provide Wi-Fi which is only for laptops, labs such as food and beverage lab, kitchen and front office. Labs have air-conditioners, projectors and perfect equipment. All classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with projectors, TV, etc. The library offers many books which are suitable and useful for every term. Facilities offered in the hostel are very decent. Rooms are clean and safe. Fans and washrooms are provided. The food provided in the mess and canteen is very tasty and hygienic. Medical facilities are provided in the health centre that's near the girls' hostel. The sports ground is available on the campus for students.
Faculty: Teachers of this department are very helpful, and they all are PhD holders. Their teaching quality is very good, wherein the teachers explain very well. The curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready where we learn about how to prepare dishes, handle various situations, etc. But some subjects are irrelevant. Semester exams are very easy as they are designed by our own professors. The pass percentage is 35% of marks.
Other: Our batch consists of 19 students, which is the lowest due to Covid-19. Students are very friendly. I chose this course because I like cooking, so this course was ideal for me. The best thing about this course is that it has a combined MBA, i.e., I do not have to attend any other entrance exams. The course is overall fantastic, but I feel that maybe the timing of this course could be reduced as our classes will be completed at 5 pm. So, it becomes a bit very late. Moreover, irrelevant subjects should also be removed. Besides studies, various fun events are also organised where students indulge in various fun activities. Students on our campus are very humble, kind and friendly. The connectivity of the campus is poor, but there is a good network signal for VI. There are awesome surroundings with trees. Scholarships are offered on the campus for students based on merit, caste and based on income.
