For admission to MBA (Regular), students need to qualify either CMAT/ ATMA with a valid score. The final selection for both of courses is based on the performance of candidates in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds conducted at the university. Yes, for admission to MA (except Wellness and Counselling) at Goa University, students need to qualify Goa University Admissions Ranking Test (GU-ART) entrance exam. It is a common in-house entrance exam conducted by the university itself for all PG courses. The marks/ percentage obtained by the candidate while graduating would only be used to ascertain the eligibility of candidates for the programme. The purpose of the GU-ART is only to rank the prospective candidates and not for determination of pass/ fail.
Goa University offers various UG, PG and doctoral-level courses at campur or through affiliated colleges. The university offers UG courses such as BA, BBA, BSc, etc., while all the PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MCom, MCA, etc., are taught through various schools and departments at the university and affiliated colleges. Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG programmes.
