Yes, for admission to MA (except Wellness and Counselling) at Goa University, students need to qualify Goa University Admissions Ranking Test (GU-ART) entrance exam. It is a common in-house entrance exam conducted by the university itself for all PG courses. In the Goa University, the passing rates are divergent in both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Students under the UG have to pass a minimum of 40 percent aggregate mark on a combination of theory and practical. In respect to PG, both internal and end-of the semester assessment needs a minimum of 50 percent. Such criteria are able to support academic standards and fairness of all courses.
