GBPUAT Admission 2025: Eligibility & Selection
GBUPAT conducts an entrance exam for admission to courses such as MSc, MCA, etc. Candidates also need to meet the eligibility requirements set by the university. Below is eligibility and selection criteria for top GBPUAT courses:

GBPUAT Fees 2025: Affordability & ROI
The total fee of GBPUAT has multiple components, out of which some are paid one-time while others are paid semester-wise. GBPUAT Seats 2025
The seat intake varies course-wise at GBPUAT. Candidates need to qualify entrance exam or merit in the last qualifying exam to get a seat in the university. The seats are distributed between UA Domicile and payment seats. All the sanctioned seats in Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programmes (except MCA) shall be allotted to bonafide residents of Uttarakhand State only. Steps for GBPUAT Admission Process 2025
GBPUAT admission process includes multiple components such as registration, selection, counselling and payment of seats. Candidates need to qualify entrance exam followed by participating in counselling. Find below step-wise GBPUAT admission process:
STEP 1: GBPUAT Application Process 2025
The mode of application is online. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for the preferred course. Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 1,200 (INR 600 for SC/ ST/ PH). Aspirants can pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes.
STEP 2: Selection
Patnanagar University conducts GBPUAT entrance exam for various UG and PG courses such as MSc, BSc, etc. Separate entrance exam is conducted for UG, PG and MCA programme. Besides, the university also accepts national-level entrance exam such as JEE Main for BTech, GATE for MTech, ICAR AIEEA for Agriculture courses, etc.
STEP 3: Counselling and Fee Payment
Once the selection process is over, the university conducts counselling round. The number of counselling rounds will depend on the vacancy of seats. Online counselling for all programmes will be carried out after declaration of results. Aspirants need to bring the specified documents for verification. For courses such as BTech, exam conducted body conducts the counselling round. Shortlisted candidates need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university.
