Food Technology College.
Placements: 4-5 students were placed, and a total of 28 students were in the class. The highest package was 5-6 LPA. The companies that were recruited were ITC, KLA, and Adani Wilmar. Internships were offered by Parle and Britannia. The roles in the course included quality officer, production officer, lab attendant, food technologist, and quality executive.
Infrastructure: Labs were the best of all. Classrooms were also good, and our college had the biggest library in Uttarakhand. The food was good, the rooms were good, and I had good friends. The hostel staff were also good. Every year, the university sponsored an athletic meet, and students from every college and hostel participated in the event.
Faculty: Professors were well-qualified and knowledgeable. Every semester was 4-5 months and a 5.0 CGPA was the passing percentage for every subject. There were 2 pre-finals and 1 lab final for each subject. Over the course of four years, we had more than 60 subjects, and every subject was good for food technologies.
Other: I chose this course because it sounds good, and after that, there are many opportunities in the food industry.

Review of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.
Placements: Placements in our college are not satisfactory. Apart from technology college, they hardly provide placements to others. Students generally prepare for higher studies as on-campus placements are very few or scanty. Technology college does provide on-campus placements, which are good.
Infrastructure: The college has an out of the ageing infrastructure with 8 colleges and 23 hostels. It is a beauty in its kind. It is a house to more than a thousand students, hundreds of professors, and a city of its own. There are multiple grounds and colonies for staff and faculty.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are highly qualified and efficient. They are masters and veterans of their fields. The course curriculum is very well crafted. Moreover, it is also used as a reference for other colleges throughout the country in all agriculture universities. Overall, they are good and efficient.
Other: The campus is good. Hostels are nice. The college offers a wonderful environment.

The college offers a good life and experience.
Placements: There are many placements for engineering students. Placements for B.Tech students are good with decent salary packages. There are few placements for B.Sc. courses. Very few companies visit the campus for placements. Hardly 5% of the batch gets placed right after graduation. It is not very satisfactory rather a deep cause of concern.
Infrastructure: It is one of the biggest campuses in the entire world. Pantnagar University proudly boasts of being one of the largest universities in terms of area, and it stands first in terms of agriculture in India. It is home to the biggest library in Asia. The campus has as many as 23 hostels.
Faculty: The course curriculum is the finest crafted one and is the best. It is the pioneer of agriculture education in the country. The college comprises of the best faculty members who are more than qualified and rigorously experienced in their respective fields.
Other: The hostel life is good. The college offers a very ambient environment and the best professors.

Better but could become the best.
Placements: Opportunities were offered but packages were not that much alluring for anyone to opt for available opportunities. It needs a lot of efforts towards that direction in order to have a scheduled placement calendar for students every year seeking places by some most prominent industries from the FMCG sector.
Infrastructure: It apparently has one of the most optimistic and open infrastructures but requires a renovation in various hostels which lack in advanced facilities like a gym, etc and have a poor mess and common room ambience. Some hostels have poor water and drainage facilities which should be improved at the earliest.
Faculty: It is definitely one of the universities blessed with highly qualified and veteran professors anyone could ever ask for. The courses are a bit on a hectic end which require some refining definitely to make them more interesting and conceiving to a student. For many courses, classes are arranged in other colleges which is a big reason for concern.

The only issue is placement.
Placements: All the students got internship but nobody placed. The specialisation of this course should be in the industry but I am feeling sad that even the students wants to go in the industry but no companies come to university and no student placed in this course in my batch.
Infrastructure: All the facilities in the university are very good. Specially the library of the university is excellent. All the books relevant to all the courses of university are present in sufficient amount. Hostel rooms are neat and clean specially the students after first year get single room.
Faculty: Students will be very useful for industry if given them a chance because the course curriculum is fit for the industry. Teaching faculty is also very good and the laboratories classrooms and study all are good. Students of this course are excellent.

Our college provides good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Placements in our college were almost nil. Only about 2-4 % of the students got placed. Companies like Parle, Nestle, etc., visited the campus. But the salary packages offered were very low. As such, no internships were offered to students through college. There was a placement cell, but it was not working efficiently.
Infrastructure: The university had good infrastructure with well-equipped labs and classrooms. There was a central library with all modern facilities and literature. A central computing facility was present that offered free Wi-Fi to students. The food served in the canteens was fine.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were well qualified and helpful. The teaching methods involve PowerPoint Presentations, test series, etc. Moreover, the students were exposed to national level quizzes and competitions. Industrial exposure of 6months was provided at the end of a degree programme in MNCs.
Other: Regular cultural and sports events like accolade, credence, etc., were organised.

A general category girl with this rank has never gained entry into GBPUAT according to past indices. It seems kind of impossible for me to help you anyway.

Sorry, I don't think so that this rank was ever admitted to GBPUAT in the reservation also. Kindly, try to appear for counselling though.
Thank you.
