IP University BAMS Eligibility & Highlights 2025
In the field of Medical and Health Sciences, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers a full-time BAMS programme of four-and-a-half-year duration which comprises one year of compulsory internship. The course is offered by Ch. Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan with an annual seat intake of 125 students. All candidates interested in seeking BAMS admission at IPU need to possess a valid NEET UG score. The final seat allotment process is conducted via IPU CET Counselling. The maximum age limit to apply for BAMS admission is 25 years as of December 31 of the admission year, while the minimum age criteria is 17 years. (a relaxation of five years is granted to SC/ ST candidates).

Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to BSc, BCA, BCom (Hons), B.Ed, BA (JMC), BHMCT, BBA, BA (Hons), BVoc, BPT, BPO, BOT, BASLP, BSc MLT, MSc, MA, MEd, MPT, MOT and MPO courses. IPU CET exam 2026 application forms for other courses, open tentatively in March every year. Apart from conducting IPU CET, GGSIPU also accepts several national-level entrance exams to provide admission to a few undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses.
Admission to most of the GGSIPU courses is done through entrance tests. However, direct admissions are available through the Management quota. Only some colleges under the GGSIPU accept direct admissions through Management quota.
There is also spot/sliding round admissions available for leftover seats after all CET counselling rounds are over. The colleges fill these seats via walk-in or direct applications.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Dwarka, Delhi is committed to providing professional education with innovation, creativity, and continuous change. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's annual hostel cost is INR 29,500. Mess and welfare fees are not included in the hostel fees. The fee for the mess is INR 36,000, while the cost of the welfare is INR 3,000. Candidates need to submit three demand drafts: one for hostel fees, one for mess charges, and one for welfare charges. Two hostels are maintained on campus for male students, and two are maintained for female students. There are more than 180 single-seat rooms in each hostel. Basic furnishings such as a cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube lamp, and fan are provided in each room. Mess facilities are available for residents in each hostel. Residents also have access to a common area, a gym, a reading room, and sports facilities. For the hostels, there is a provision for 24-hour water and electrical services.
GGSIPU follow the UGC norms to initiate the fee refund. The University will initiate the refund once the online and offline counselling process is concluded for the academic year. After the conclusion of the counselling process, the amount after reduction will be initiated to the candidates as per the bank details provided by the students while filling the online application form.

Yes, GGSIPU accepts CUET scores. For UG courses, CUET-UG and similarly for the PG courses, CUET-PG is applicable. However, it must be noted that preference is given to CUET scores after the respective national-level exams and the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Some of the UG and PG programmes for which this entrance score is accepted are MCA, MA, BSc, BBA and allied programmes, BPharm, BCom (Hons), etc.
GGSIPU IPU CET cutoff 2026 was released for the first round of admission to the BTech course and its various specialisations. The cutoff was announced for different AI and HS quota categories.
For the General AI category, the BTech CSE (AI) course round 1 cutoff ranged from 46521 to 158229. As per this range, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology was the hardest college for admission.
For the BTech. + MTech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering programme, the R1 cutoff ranged from 41125 to 162095. As per this range, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was the hardest institute for admission for this course.
