    Yes, GGSIPU is a good university. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is the 1st university which was established in the year 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. The university is good on placements, scholarships, student's rating. 

    Q:   What are the fees structures for BTech programmes at GGSIPU?
    A: 

    GGSIPU BTech fees range between INR 1.4 lakh and INR 10 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. The fee mentioned here does not include the university charges of INR 15,000, security amount of INR 5,000 (One time, refundable) and student activity fee of INR 1,000. For detailed fee structure, candidates are advised to contact the admission department of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

    Q:   What is the hostel fee at IPU?
    A: 

    Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's annual hostel cost is INR 29,500. Mess and welfare fees are not included in the hostel fees. The fee for the mess is INR 36,000, while the cost of the welfare is INR 3,000. Candidates need to submit three demand drafts: one for hostel fees, one for mess charges, and one for welfare charges. Two hostels are maintained on campus for male students, and two are maintained for female students. There are more than 180 single-seat rooms in each hostel. Basic furnishings such as a cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube lamp, and fan are provided in each room. Mess facilities are available for residents in each hostel. Residents also have access to a common area, a gym, a reading room, and sports facilities. For the hostels, there is a provision for 24-hour water and electrical services.

    It is a great college with great opportunities for growth.
    Placements: 80–90 percent of students got placed in my senior batches. Even in my own batch, the placement cell provides internship opportunities to anyone who is interested. Top recruiters include major news channels like Zee News, India TV, PTI, etc. Some students also worked in production, and many opted for higher studies.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. The studio is easily one of the best in the region, and it has all the latest features and equipment. There is an AV lab and a PCR for those interested in audio editing as well. The auditorium and seminar hall provide great space for ceremonies and debates. Classrooms are AC as well. The library is well stocked, and students can easily find reference materials there.
    Faculty: Our college has excellent faculty members who act as mentors and guides. They help every student with whatever concerns they may have. All teachers have relevant industry experience and teach their lessons practically with case studies and high class involvement.
    Other: I chose this course because of how vibrant and limitless it is. I love public speaking, which is why I felt more driven in this course. The campus provides great opportunities to develop any skill. From organizing fests and working in societies, there are many options to improve and gain practical skills.

    Really good infrastructure, facilities, faculty, and a good fest and social culture.
    Placements: This college has a great media course with great opportunities in the industry. Most of the alumni have been placed in great companies such as PTI and other NGOs as well. Production team and opportunities are really strong in this college, and it's overall a great investment.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. It has nice facilities with air conditioning in every class. The library has a lot of stuff. The food available in the canteen is good and has a great variety. There are a lot of societies. The studio for media studies is one of the best in Delhi NCR. Students are also given access to chroma screens, cameras, mics, and other equipment.
    Faculty: Teachers are helpful and approachable. The quality of teaching is impressive. The curriculum is relevant according to the industry standards. The semester exams are good. The course is very relevant and industry-based. The curriculum is also very flexible and integrates all the new innovations and improvements in the industry into the course.
    Other: There are a lot of cultural festivals, with competitions giving students the opportunity to explore their talents.

    It has industrial base courses.
    Placements: More than 50% of students get placement in their final semester, while others prepare for higher education. The package goes from 2 LPA to 4-5 LPA. Companies such as Press Trust of India, NDTV, Gadget 360, and Aakashanwani recruit. 100% internship is available.
    Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is available on all the floors, including in labs and the library. The library has all the relevant course books needed.
    Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly, with qualification of Ph.D. and vast industrial knowledge, and high teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant with industry exposure through a workshop session visit. Exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 95+%. All the faculty members are Ph.D. or have more than 10+ year experience in the relevant field in the BA-JMC department.
    Other: I chose this course because of creative exposure, and the best thing about the course is that you can explore a lot of sectors like advertising, pr, filmmaking, reporting, etc. Female washrooms can be improved.

    Immensely satisfied with the college, faculty, and placements.
    Placements: Around 80-85% of students are always placed in my course. The highest package goes up to 5-6 LPA, and the lowest is 2-3 LPA. 70% of the students got internships from our college in companies like NDTV 360, News World, Zee News, etc. Top roles offered are social media manager, photographer, videographer, graphic designer, etc.
    Infrastructure: Facilities are top-notch. A studio is there for broadcasting, and we have a PCR room where we can practice anchoring, shoot video, etc. It gives a real thrill. The quality is maintained throughout. We have a canteen which provides food for every occasion.
    Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful. Even if you text them late at night, they will reply to you. They'll be available for your doubts and also if you have any issues. The lab assignments that are given make students industry-ready. Exams are moderate, not so hard, not so easy, but harder than the finals. So we don't have to take tension about our external as we are already ready beforehand.
    Other: The practical knowledge that is gained through assignments, I enjoy that a lot, so that's the best thing for me. Another thing requiring improvement is the female washrooms. It would be better if they were on the ground floor, so it would be very feasible. Rest everything else is good.

    Great faculty, good facilities, and average placements.
    Placements: The placements of Delhi Metropolitan Educational aren't that great, like I've seen any of my seniors getting placed from college, but hear me out, the faculty here at DME Media School is amazing, they help you get good jobs and internships.
    Infrastructure: The overall college is a little small, but if I talk specifically about the media department, it's just beautiful. We have the best new labs, the best PCR room, the best camera equipment, the best teleprompter, and the best performing area. The infrastructure of the media department is good.
    Faculty: As I mentioned earlier, the faculty here at DME Media School is just wow. Every teacher is very well experienced in the industry, and they are themselves industry professionals, so learning from them makes a huge difference, and also the curriculum is designed so nicely that it makes you industry-ready, and we have an equal number of practical subjects. The exams are pretty chill and easy, as when you have such great teachers, exams are never a burden for you.
    Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to just stand in front of that TV podium and conduct debates and read news scripts, and that's what I'm doing in my 3rd year. We have another level of fests happening in our college, we also have our own film festival, regular fests, it's just so happening.

    Supportive faculty members, decent infrastructure and labs, growing placements and clean campus.
    Placements: Placements at Trinity for B.J.M.C. are growing every year. College provides internship opportunities in news channels, digital media agencies, PR firms, and content companies. Many students get internships in reputed organizations during their course. Placement cell is active and guides students with resume building and interview preparation. If you are sincere and take initiative, you can get good media internships with hands-on exposure. Some students also convert their internships into full-time roles after graduation.
    Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is decent. College is very clean, and the environment is very student-friendly. Trinity has a dedicated media lab and studio for B.J.M.C. students which is used for anchoring, news reading, editing, and video shooting.
    Faculty: Faculty members at the college are highly qualified and very supportive. They guide well in both theory and practical work. Professors are very approachable, especially if you show genuine interest in learning. They provided guidance during internships.
    Other: As a B.J.M.C. student at Trinity, my journey so far has been a mixture of learning, exposure, and self-growth. College environment is disciplined and encourages academic focus, while also offering opportunities for extracurricular activities. Faculty members in the journalism department are knowledgeable and approachable. They guide well in both theory and practical work. Regular workshops, guest lectures, and industrial visits help in real-world exposure.

    GGSIPU is a government university. GGSIPU is a UGC approved university. Being a government university, the fee for various courses is not very high.  The tuition fee for UG/ PG courses like BTech is INR 2.3L - INR 7.4L & M.Tech is INR 1.9 L - INR 2.8 L.
