IPU admission 2022 to BA and BA (Hons) programme is based on IPU CET ranks and University counselling. Both these programmes are offered at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and its affiliated colleges for a three-year duration, spread in a semester pattern.

Yes, GGSIPU is a good university. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is the 1st university which was established in the year 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to BSc, BCA, BCom (Hons), B.Ed, BA (JMC), BHMCT, BBA, BA (Hons), BVoc, BPT, BPO, BOT, BASLP, BSc MLT, MSc, MA, MEd, MPT, MOT and MPO courses. IPU CET exam 2026 application forms for other courses, open tentatively in March every year. Apart from conducting IPU CET, GGSIPU also accepts several national-level entrance exams to provide admission to a few undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses.

Admission to most of the GGSIPU courses is done through entrance tests. However, direct admissions are available through the Management quota. Only some colleges under the GGSIPU accept direct admissions through Management quota.

There is also spot/sliding round admissions available for leftover seats after all CET counselling rounds are over. The colleges fill these seats via walk-in or direct applications.

Overall a good experience.

Placements: There are very less amount of students and professors are aware of each one of them. Not everyone got an internship, but the event for the internships is good. There are so many companies that come, and such good roles are provided even for interns.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, and even the washrooms are good. Canteen is decent can be much better. But the ground is only available for the school kids and is available for us after 2:00 PM, which is the time we are almost heading home, and due to the summer, we can't sit in so much sunlight.

Faculty: We do have regular exams to test our progress, which helps us in the main exams. The course is a bit lengthy but teachers manage to complete it and are always available for doubts. We did face problems as faculty members kept on changing and the new faculty took time.

Other: The events mainly took place in the auditorium or the small place outside our building, no big events are organized for us.
