GGSIPU Courses & Fees 2026: UG, PG, Doctorate, Certificate Courses

As per the IP University 2023 brochure, the duration of all the MCA courses is two-year. The course is further divided into semester pattern. There are four semesters during the course. The syllabus might also be defined semester-wise. Candidates have to pass all the semester exams in order to get a MCA degree from IPU.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme to students in a variety of specializations. The course is preferred by students seeking to make a career in the Management field. The total tuition fees for GGSIPU MBA ranges from around INR 1.4 L - 5.9 L. Most of the GGSIPU course admissions are based on entrance test scores. GGSIPU usually don't provide any scope of direct admission to the students. Students must clear the entrance examinations to get admission to the available programmes. 

For BSc admission at GGSIPU, the minimum eligibility criteria are to pass Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (45 % in case of SC/ST categories).

GSGIPU has a lot of sports amenities and resources. Both men and women can select any kind of game and sport, such as cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, powerlifting, body lifting, table tennis, yoga, arm wrestling, bodybuilding, badminton, lawn tennis, etc. The facilities of the GGSIPU have a number of playgrounds where students can enjoy and have fun during their free time. Basketball and football grounds are available, where students can play either a match or have fun. It has a volleyball court as well. It has 12 technical clubs and 12 cultural clubs to cater to the interest of the students.

Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been ranked by various ranking bodies, including NIRF, QS World University Rankings, etc. It has been ranked #1001-1200 globally in the QS World University Rankings 2027. In the QS Asia University Rankings (Regional), the University is ranked 258. In the NIRF 2025 ranking under the 'University' category, GGSIPU was ranked 93rd. 

To be eligible for GGSIPU BTech (lateral) admissions, candidates need to clear the BSc course with a minimum aggregate of 60%. Candidates must clear a BSc course with Mathematics as a mandatory subject as well to apply for BTech (lateral) at GGSIPU.

The University School of Management Studies, which is Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University on-campus business school is ranked #65 in the NIRF 2024 rankings under the Management category. Its rank has improved by one position in 2023. In comparison with 2022 ranking, GGSIPU ranking has slipped from 62nd position in 2022 to 66 in 2023.

There are multiple components included in the course total fee, such as tuition fee, registration fee, security charges, etc. Some of the components are one-time chargeable such as security deposit and registration fee. Admission to most of the GGSIPU courses is done through entrance tests. However, direct admissions are available through the Management quota. Only some colleges under the GGSIPU accept direct admissions through Management quota. 

There is also spot/sliding round admissions available for leftover seats after all CET counselling rounds are over. The colleges fill these seats via walk-in or direct applications. 

Yes, GGSIPU accepts CUET scores. For UG courses, CUET-UG and similarly for the PG courses, CUET-PG is applicable. However, it must be noted that preference is given to CUET scores after the respective national-level exams and the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Some of the UG and PG programmes for which this entrance score is accepted are MCA, MA, BSc, BBA and allied programmes, BPharm, BCom (Hons), etc.

M.Des	Candidate must have completed graduation in any professional degree like Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Engineering or Liberal Arts or Humanities or other equivalent four year degree program.

GGSIPU follow the UGC norms to initiate the fee refund. The University will initiate the refund once the online and offline counselling process is concluded for the academic year. After the conclusion of the counselling process, the amount after reduction will be initiated to the candidates as per the bank details provided by the students while filling the online application form.

Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) offers scholarships for students studying at its affiliated institutes. Financial aid is available through university-specific grants, state schemes, and national portals. The univeristy offers merit-based, EWS scholarships, etc.
