Hnbgu - pauri campus: an honest review.

Placements: Only about ten percent of students in my batch get placed on campus; students generally from here are placed off campus. And most of the students in my batch are preparing for the government sector, not for private or corporate culture, through the placements. The average package at our college is 3 lacs per year. And generally, there are no internship programs for students.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my department are good, with all necessities: wi-fi, classrooms and the library. The quality of the hostel is also good, with an affordable price of two thousand for food per month and two thousand for hostel rent for the whole year, which is an affordable price. Also, mess food is average, not to bad or too good. Medical facilities are also available for students and faculty. Sports activities are also held at our college; likely all sports are played on campus.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are friendly, qualified, professional, and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality is impressive, and our faculty's teaching style is fantastic. The course curriculum is a little bit old; its average for students to get industry-ready, so this is the reason why placements are low at our college. Semester exams are not tough at our college. The passing percentage is only 33 percent for the semester exam.

Other: I chose this course, B.Sc. (computer science), because I have no option for B.Tech. (CSE). The best thing about my course is that it covers all programming languages and DSA in one language is covered in the whole course. I wish it would be improved by revising a new curriculum for students that is upgraded to meet market needs.

Best college it's a government funded and state university.

Placements: 75% of students gets placed every year Highest package -6lpa Lowest package-3lpa Average package-4.5lpa Around 80% of students got internships from my course in many it companies and marketing companies. Roles offered to them were HR, manager, Associates.

Infrastructure: Yes, all the facilities and infrastructure is really good. Hostel facilities are really awesome. The food probably is not same as home but yeah it's really ohk.. I love eating it, especially the evening snacks...were really good. There were many fests, hostel nights, etc.

Faculty: Yes teachers are really helpful, passing sgpa is 4.5. You mainly need to focus on previous years questions, you must have a habit of reading books and you must give 2 or 3 hours to your skills and mini 2 hours to hours to your passion like it could be anything.

Other: I chose it because I love exploring mathematics as much as I can. There could me more improvisation in technicalities.

Satisfied but not very much. They should work on their faculty and staff because they are very rude.

Placements: The batch holds a strength of 200 students, but only 150 students are enrolled in this course. The placement percentage is very low. Only a few students get campus placements. For better opportunities, you have to go for off-campus placements. They should work on their placement cell.

Infrastructure: The hostel provides good facilities like hot water in winter, food on time, fans, beds, cupboards, study tables, and chairs. The infrastructure is good. The hostel has safety. The university is surrounded by trees that add stars to its beauty.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive. The course is also according to NEP 2020. Exams are on time sometimes, but they have no proper time for exams. Also, the result is announced very late. There are many mistakes in the marking. So, I'm satisfied with their marking system.

Other: There are many events that are held by the college society every year, Ananta is held by the B.Tech department, Rudraksha by the cultural and folk departments, and many more.
