Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, also known as HITS, was established in 1985 and is located in Kelambakkan, Chennai. It is a member of AIU and is accredited by the IAO, NBA,  and NAAC with an 'A' Grade. Further, it is a deemed-to-be University and is recognised by the UGC. At present, the university offers more than 100 courses in diverse streams such as Engineering, Management, Law, Humanities, Science, and more. Apart from this, the university has a sprawling campus of over 150 acres with all the modern facilities.

HITS Chennai MBA curriculum includes theory and practical subjects. The two-year course is divided into four semesters. Candidates also have to do a summer project and submit a final project. The practical subjects covered in the programme are business communication, computer lab and software application.
