 To apply for any of the courses of their choice, students need to visi the official website of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science and apply online. Find below the general step to fill an online application form at Hindustan University:

1. Go to the official website of Hindustan University and fill the registration form with required details and click the login to generate the login credentials.
2. A verification link will be given on the registered email id. Click on that link and to open the login page of the application form.
3. Fill the application form with required details such as personal and educational details and click on ‘Submit’.
4. Upload the scanned documents in the prescribed format.
5. Complete the application process by paying an adequate amount of application fee.

The last date to submit the HITSEEE 2024 application form was April 29, 2024. Prior to filling out the application form, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria. The applications of non-eligible candidates will not be accepted by the admission authorities under any circumstances.

The admission cycle of Hindustan University typically begins with the release of the application forms in April every year. Yes, aspirants of HITS BTech course need to take part in HITSEEE counselling. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment, etc. It generally begins soon after the entrance test result declaration. The seats are allotted during counselling as per the applicants rank secured in the exam.

A total of 1590 seats are available for BTech programmes at HITS Chennai. The seat intake varies for each of the course specialisation. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science has the highest seat intake for CSE course - 480, followed by aerospace engineering and aeronautical engineering with 180 seats. The seat allotment is carried out based on HITSEEE scores. It must be taken into account that the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

In 2023, Hindustan University demonstrated diverse trends in the NIRF rankings. While the specific rank in 'Architecture' was unspecified (NA), the university maintained a strong position in previous and subsequent years. In 'Engineering, ' the university made significant progress by climbing 51 ranks, securing the 101 position, marking the second consecutive year of ascent. The 'Management Institutes' category saw a ranking within 101-125, contributing to the university's standing in management education. Similarly, in the 'University (Overall)' category, Hindustan University's position fell within the range of 101-150, reflecting its broader institutional ranking in the NIRF assessment.

At the UG level, Hindustan University offers a four-year BTech course across 15 specialisations, including two specialisations, which are offered in collaboration with IBM. These specialisations are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, CSE (in collaboration with IBM), etc. These specialisations are further divided into multiple sub-specialisations.
