Hindustan University admissions 2026 are open for UG and PG courses. Other latest updates are as follows:
- The CLAT 2026 5th merit list will be released on May 15, 2026, for admission to the PG-level LLM programme.
- The TNEA 2026 counselling registrations have started for admission to the BE/ BTech courses. According to the tentative schedule, the last date to register is Jun 2, 2026.
- The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted until May 31, 2026, for admission to several UG courses.
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The CUET PG 2025 result has been released for admission to PG courses. Candidates who appeared in the exam can view and download their scorecards by using their login details on the official website.
- The TANCET 2026 exam has been conducted for admission to the MBA course. The results are expected to be out by Jun, 2026.
- The CLAT 2026 fourth merit list for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) courses is now released. Students must pay the confirmation fee by May 14, 2026, to either float or freeze their allotted seats.

No, Hindustan University offers admission to all of its courses based on a valid score in the respective entrance exams. For the majority of UG courses from the streams of Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management and Law, the university conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., HITSCAT. For BTech course, students can apply via HISEEE, which is also an in-house entrance exam of Hindustan University. Yes, Hindustan University conducts two entrance exams at the university level, i.e., HITSEEE and HITSCAT for all the UG and PG courses. The HITSEEE exam is popularly conducted for BTech admission and it is conducted in two phases. The HITSCAT exam is mandatory for the rest of the UG and PG courses. For PhD admission, the university accepts admission through UGC NET/ GATE valid score.
For admission to BTech at Hindustan University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The next step of the selection criteria is to qualify for an entrance exam. The university conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE), which needs to be qualified with a valid score. This entrance exam is specifically conducted by HITS for admission of candidates to its BTech course. This exam is valid for both BTech and BTech (Lateral Entry) course. Hindustan University offers a four-year BTech course. Apart from this students can also get direct admission to the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry. The university offers two additional subject options in collaboration with IBM.
