Admission to the MBA programme is granted on the basis of scores obtained by the students in CMAT followed by centralized counselling. The students are allotted seats based on their rank, choice, and seat availability.

The first-year fees for MBA are INR 80,750. For the second year, the fees are INR 76550.Our college fees are affordable but still, our college also offers scholarships through various schemes like Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially-Abled through National Scholarship Portal, Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girls through National Scholarship Portal, Merit cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS through National Scholarship Portal, Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities through National Scholarship Portal, Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Uttar Pradesh candidates.

The placement drive for 2023 is still ongoing. The complete placement report is yet to be released. However, the University has released the list of recruiters who participated during IKGPTU placements 2023 such as TCS, HDFC Bank, Decathlon, Infosys,  etc..

The University has also released the 2023 NIRF report. As per the report,  55 BTech, 9 MTech, and 2 MBA students were placed during IK Gujral Punjab Technical University placements 2022. The median package for BTech stood at INR 4.50 LPA. For MTech and MBA courses, the median package stood at INR 3 LPA and INR 2.70 LPA, respectively. 

The slection process is normal, the persons who got cleared / have cracked CMAT, MAT, CAT, XAT, PU MET, GMAT, APICET, UGAT and AGC NEST  exams. When these exams are conducted students have to go the  through for the admission. And the graduation percentage required for the admission is 45-55%.

Candidates are offered seat in IK Gujral Punjab Technical University MBA based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants must complete their bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate for MBA. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for IKGPTU MBA course. The university prepares the merit list based on the qualifying exam score of the candidates.

IKGPTU offers an MBA programme at PG-level. Candidates who have a graduation degree from a UGC-approved university are eligible to apply for the programme. The graduation degree should be of a minimum 3 years programme. MBA at IKGPTU is offered in three specialisations, from which a student can select as per their convenience and career choice.

2. Click on "Register for MBA". Register by entering some basic details, such as name, valid email ID, phone number, etc.
3. Login with the Username and Password.
4. Fill out the PTU MBA application form.
5. Submit the form after the payment of the registration fee, i.e. INR 1,000.
